My ERAM take

I wanted to give him a vibe of the "final boss" from the old games uhhh. Like. Nightmare from link's awakening and... other Nightmare, from Kirby's adventure.

Cyan soul would just be a reskin of pixel Kris with a sword, since I don't want to deviate too much from the canon.

He would be huge because his sprite in the game is only one pixel lower than Tenna's sprite, I don't see any reason why his full form should be short. But the head is detachable.

A great smith gives the heroes a terrible weapon. In the universe of Lord Of The Hammer, Gerson was once friends with the main developer/director of Dragon Blazers, that which was the game based off of LOTH. Thus, Gerson inserted him into the story, but no one really realized it because his identity was concealed as a joke. Now, he is forgotten, and all that remains is this vague effigy. DO YOU KNOW OF THAT RUSTY GAME BASED ON THE TALE? DRAGON BLAZERS. 'Course I have! Never got around to playing it though… WELL….
