some people will try and force writing "rules" onto fanfiction, and i REJECT almost all of them. i love reading amateur writing. i love reading an author's very first fic. i love doing things you're "not supposed to do" when i write my own things.

using punctuation? line breaks? using good grammar to the best of your ability?? THAT'S ALL YOU NEED.

word counts?? chapter length?? IT DOESN'T MATTER. some people love long chapters, some people love medium ones, and others like them short. some people don't have a preference and are just fine with a mixture. there is ALWAYS going to be a reader that likes your chapter lengths.

FANFICTION IS FOR FUN. WRITE WHAT YOU LOVE. it doesn't have to follow canon, nor does it have to make any sense in the real world. if you have an idea, just write it.

and let me read that shit as soon as you do. PLEASE.
