being fully honest though I hate the constant stream of “life with your significant other isn’t a romance movie it’s not that happy ever!!!” advice from people who settled for husbands and wives they can’t be best friends with because they felt compelled to get married directly after they graduated and it’s extremely depressing every time I see it. like I know no relationship is picture perfect but if you think it’s unrealistic to dream of life with your significant other as a happier place than without them… idk what to tell u other than play the field girl
