Leela was looking over a few witness accounts from the lockdown but nothing had what she was looking for. Her eyes were tired from reading and from staring at her computer screen as well. When she heard the knock on her office door, she sighed and leaned back in her chair, shaking her head in response. “You’re never a bother, Justin.” She glanced over to her phone to check on the time not realizing at first just how late it was. “I’ve been here for 13 hours. What’s wrong with me?” She laughed softly and nodded. “I would love to join you. I’ll grab my coat. I need to get out of this office anyway.”
he could tell she was tired ---- probably more than she’d ever admit. he smiled as she replied to him, letting a knowing laugh slip past his lips. “i think our fellow opponents in the courtroom might object to that.” he replied. he crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow as she revealed how long she’d been at the office. “everything. everything is wrong with you.” justin teased, nodding. he let stepped back, leaning on the empty desk in front of her office as he waited for her to gather her things. “c’mon and get drunk with me, you crazy workaholic.”
