im glad whoever made this photo helpfully added a red circle so i could spot the alien but im still not sure where the alien is. could someone please magnify the alien so i can see it. i cant find any

So like, I’ve been seeing discouragement about “Steven helps X human” episodes and how they don’t contribute to the plot but I actually find them vitally important to the show. The whole point is that the Crystal Gems are fighting to keep Earth safe. But why should we as an audience stay connected to such a conglomerative idea, even when it’s the Crystal Gems’ central purpose? They each have their personal reasons for fighting, of course, but their ultimate cause is every individual on Earth. They fight so that Sadie and Lars can operate the Big Donut together, so Vidalia can paint and raise her family, so that the Cool Kids can hang out, so that Onion can do his Onion things, so the Pizzas and the Frymans can have their restaurant wars, so that Sour Cream can DJ, so that Mayor Dewey can run for reelection, so that Ronaldo can blog. We need to see Steven being a member of his community so we can understand how much this world means to him. Fighting for Earth wouldn’t mean anything if the people of Earth didn’t have faces and names.
