(JOANNA GARCIA SWISHER, AGE UNKNOWN, SHE/HER) We have been waiting for a while, but CASSIA HALE was finally spotted in the village today. People heard whispers that they are a VIRTUE (PATIENCE) that is hellbent on [ fixing ] the veils. Will they succeed? Only time can tell. Until then we will keep a close eye on them as they listen to FORGET ME NOT BY THE CIVIL WARS.Ā
Iām shitty at bios so have some bullet points because theyāre easier and require less coherent sentences.Ā
Cassia (no middle name) Hale
One of the virtues - Patience
Age unknown, appears early-mid thirties
Has been in Wildemount for a few years now
Lives alone in a small cottage
Literally lives life in the slow lane; bakes bread from scratch, grows her own garden, doesnāt own a car, loves to read.Ā
Is a librarian
Loves animals and nature
Is always quick to forgive (but not forget)
Very patient (obviously) and understanding of others
Mostly even-tempered, but even she has her moments if pushed that far
Wanted Connections
Iām open to anything & everything! Since sheās been in town for a while sheād probably know quite a few people. Plus she works with the public, so sheād run into people of the town a lot.Ā
Friends!Ā
Neighbors. (She lives in a cute little cottage, so anyone who may live in her neighborhood or next-door.)Ā
Enemies? She tries not to have enemies, but sheās bound to have them.Ā
If anyone spent any amount of time in the library, Cassia pretty much knew who they were. And after seeing Ares a few times, sheād come to know usually what types of books he was after. From behind the circulation desk, Cassia offered a warm smile.Ā āGood afternoon Mr. Trilling. Looking for anything in particular today? We just got two new poetry books in. I havenāt put them on the shelves yet, but Iām happy to grab them from the back for you.āĀ
āI really donāt know what I would do without salsa and margaritas.ā Cassia smiled over at Celeste before shoving a chip in her mouth.Ā āIāve been thinking about this all day. My stomach growled so loud today while it was silent in the library, I think at least four people looked over at me.ā
Why did this town have to be a hot bed for sins and virtues? Just the thought of them made Malachi scoff, they thought they were so high and mighty. He hadnāt realised how much his face was reflecting is his inner dialogue when he saw a woman looking at him.Ā āWhat do you want, Patience?ā Even though he was fallen, he could still sense what she was, it was faint, but it was still there. @ohcassiaā
Normally, Cassia didnāt mind being called Patience, but his tone suggested a condescendence she didnāt agree with.Ā āI want nothing,ā she assured him in a soft voice.Ā āYou just looked like you were lost in thought. Maybe not the best of thoughts considering your facial expression.ā She gave a small shrug and lifted her to-go cup of coffee to her lips.Ā āHaving a bad morning, Malachi?ā
