This is a huge misconception for regular Americans. When the government uses the phrase “undocumented” they’re using it incorrectly because if they were truly undocumented then they would’ve be in system. However these immigrants are in the system and they pay taxes, file tax returns and get no benefits that citizens and legal residents get. They also get to see ICE showing up at their doors because the government has their addresses. “Undocumented” just means “without papers,” i.e. a social security card, valid visa, etc. They’re still on databases and whatnot, they just don’t have the documentation that allows them to reap the benefits.

I had a dream last night where I got hired at a new club but it was actually a Buffalo Wild Wings so I had to like walk around trying to sell a dance to dudes eating wings and it was still a family place so there were like kids and random people watching sports the whole time. I did one lap around the place and then went to change my shoes and for some reason all of my shoes had a slightly different mate and I had no matching pairs except for a pair of knee high boots...so I put those on and then my manager screamed at my and said only stilettos are allowed in her club so I went back to searching for the right pair of shoes and then I fell asleep in the dream and woke up hours later to an empty club/bww.....it was such a stressful dream I'm so mad lmao
