As someone that doesn’t pay that much attention to the Grimoires, I thought that when people said that Magna's clover was slightly off center that it was just that.

Slightly. But still in the center.

An addition!

The position of the clover on his grimoire directly matches the position of Magna's stitch scar. Combine that, Magna being the only character with dual-colored hair, and the cross bones that mirror Magna's head in some cases, really makes you wonder if Magna has some other form of inspiration (coughGHOSTRIDERcough) or if we're missing some form of mythos/fairytale for him, as many of the bulls and even captain's have it.

Closest equivalent i can find is Žiburinis, a Lithuanian forest spirit that appears as a burning skeleton. The way it is created is that it jumps from host to host, burning them alive in hatred and fire to cause pain and trauma (similar to how devils have acted so far) and is it possible that, considering Magna's innate care for all the bulls and implored Asta to write to his family, happened to one of Magna's family members, tried to use Magna as the next vessel but Magna fought back and won?

A part of me also thinks it might have something to do with Muspelheim with how the Fire giants in mythos break the Bifrost bridge (foreshadowing to Magna actually being the first to bust one of Dark Triad) but we'll have to wait and see.
