ok but what if the horrific evil emotionless feminine force of destruction met the badass fem main character and Fucking Broke. In the midst of its ravenous mission to devour and destroy everything it meets, there’s this one mortal that refuses to cower, that sees the worth in the world and fights for it, that wields its own power in defiance of it and refuses to give up on the people and things she cares about.
There was no prophecy, no hope for reality, and yet before it stands the fucking chosen one that will stop at nothing to save the world like no other human or machine has before. And somehow, the being looks upon her and is horrifically fascinated, a new sensation brewing that defies and transcends the very concept of emotion and simply presents as pure obsession. The being cannot decide if it wants to crush this last light of hope or become one with it.
The fight drags on until the only way to defeat the entity is to confine it, consume it, overpower and assimilate it, and the hero must take on this responsibility. Yet after the dust clears and the entity stirs, it is not full of resentment or ambition. It is content. Powerless, but content. It shares a body with the only thing that could ever defeat it, it is one with the only other being that it could ever view as “perfect”. And it is content.

the fact that Cyn's canon age being confirmed as at least 18+ is causing a stirr on MD twitter is so sad and funny at the same time.
like... yeah? girlypop is canonically older than Uzi if you take the timeline of events into consideration. No shit she's AT LEAST 18. And let's be real for a second, her being babyfied so damn much by certain parts of the fandom on certain socmeds (like Twitter) does not surprise me one bit.
She's incredibly autism-coded to me personally (and to other folks as well), and if time in any fandom has shown me anything it's that people love to babyfy autistic/autism-coded characters a LOT.
Making them incapable of being adults on their own, having a personality or pursuing love/relationships/family planning as if these aren't fully grown adults.
It's really just ableism at this point. Stop babyfying adults with autism. And I'm not just saying it because of fandom discourse, which frankly, is such a nothingburger. We're all adults with real issues, and fandom drama ain't one of them. But this issue also spreads into the real world and as an autistic woman I'm so tired of people acting like we cannot exist in media without being treated as toddlers that cannot be in love or have their own life outside of the disability.
The fact that folks on certain social media sites got madly upset over me & others shipping Cyn with other characters of age because... "she's minor-coded! She's underage!" No she is not a fucking minor. Her behavior in the show is no indication of her being a minor.
"Oh she calls N 'big brother'" - my dear brother, who is 20 years of age calls me his "big sister". He's still a fully grown adult with a job and bills. Have y'all never seen siblings before?
don't make your headcanon everyone else's problem, man. If you hc Cyn as a minor or whatever, sure, your right. Her canon age is 18+ tho. Confirmed by Liam. Labelling folks "proshippers" or "predators" based on your headcanon is stupid. Please touch grass.

ai music and fic getting big in the murder drones fandom makes me avoid interacting with it much. theres a yt channel that produces like 5 aigen songs monthly and lies about it and people just eat it up. everywhere i go people talk about the associated fic and music like??? are yall blind?? thats obviously sunoai.
and its not just that specific channel, there are dozens and you cant avoid them.

Fr guys like. We’re the fandom of a series that basically is another “why humanity needs to be careful what it invents” story, why are we embracing ai? We shouldn’t be.
