Raibaru / Rival Chan Headcannons

- Since Rai was the original rival, she originally liked Taro, but since becoming friends with Osana, has backed down after realising that she too liked him.

- Because the other students know of what Rai is capable of they fear her, making Osana her only friend, which is why she is so defensive of her and will do literally anything to keep her from harm (aka broken bones Ayano tiiiimmmee).

-Also because Osana is her only friend, she's willing to do anything to keep her liking her. i.e having the exact same interests/disinterests, dressing exactly same, even acting like they're sisters, etc.

- Rai doesn't like Ayano because they've gone to the same school since kindergarten and knows how creepy and emotionless she is (Rai isn't used to this because she's been surrounded by colour and such upbeat emotions her whole life).

- Secretly has a crush on Osana now, but doesn't want to say because she knows how much Osana likes Taro

- "I'm baby"

Yansim AU: CPS gets wind that Ayano's parents left a wholeass teenager behind when her mom fled to Europe, and Ayano is taken and put in a foster home and a different school, away from her precious senpai. Now when her case worker sees her murderous ideation and desperation to get back home, she is seen as another emotionally messed up problem child from an abusive household. Little does anyone guess how competent she is at carrying out these intentions if it means being in his presence again.

Types of eyes in Yandere Simulator

(Note: this isn’t talking about makeup or shadows/bags or scars on eyes this is just talking about the shape/pupils.)

First we have the regular ones, these either have a black pupil or a pupil that is a darker shade of the iris

Both are the most common in the game. Even the Delinquents have them

Now the eyes may have different shapes such as being slightly lidded but still they are regular eyes. A lot of students have colored lashes as well.

Next he has the decorated eyes which all the bullies have (couldn’t get a good pic of musume)

These eyes have extra shine possibly to make them look cuter. Their irises have a softer look and their pupils have more detail.

Next we have the Basu sister’s eyes

Bsically the same as the default eyes except with a slit pupil

Finally we have the Science Club eyes

They have two separate rings for their irises and a small oval for their pupil that is a darker shade of their iris. Except for Kaga who has a small black dot. Probably to give him that “mad scientist” look. Also note that the shines in their eyes aren’t copy and pasted of each other, nice detail!

Now there’s two other students that deserved their own section first is Shiromi who seems to have “empty” eyes. They are half lidded like others but unlike the rest of them her eyes are a solid color with no highlights or pupils.

It’s similar to Musume’s post kidnap and Ayano’s on 0% sanity

Another student I would like to talk about is Homu Kurusu (aka Not!Robot-chan). She has eyes similar to Kaga but interestingly enough she is the only student with colored sclera

Which as everyone has probably guessed since Dev more or less confirmed it but she ain’t human

Maybe Kaga isn’t Megami’s suitor

Kaga could be part of the mysterious obstacle and change to the protective persona the final week

He could try to sabotage attempts to set Megami up with a suitor 

Repair the metal detectors set up around school/ lock up tools used to break them & only give the tools to club members.  

If you kill Kaga he could have a clone he kept hidden like Midori’s clones

He could try to impress Megami’s dad with Robot- chans patrolling the school 

The person with the protective persona could change with each rival {i.e Osana’s could be a best friend, Oka’s could be the Phantom girl and Asu’s could be Budo} 

The protective person could have control over a group of people like the martial arts club that patrols the school while the leader follows the rival around

@wardaddy-2nd-armordiv That’s way more fitting than “bazookas.” Anti-tank weapons are long and cylindrical, whereas their ammunition is shaped more like a bottle with a pointy cap. Good call.

Psst I’ve seen people talk about how there’s no non sexuality representation

Non of the characters in the game are white. Literally all of them are Japanese.

We have 2 disabled students (Aoi is missing an eye that is a disability and Sakura has a heart condition)

The Sports Club have been successfully rendered to have muscles so body diversity may be coming in the completed game (for a while body diversity was hard because of animation/model limitations hence why breasts looked all wonkey) hopefully Asu and Osoro will have muscles just like their artwork depicts

We have a religious character!! And based on her description she’s Shinto!! Outside of media from Japan when was the last time you’ve heard of Shinto being represented?

Sukubi has naturally darker skin (Asu’s may be tanned) so hopefully more non gyaru characters may have darker skin

Representation is there you guys just choose to ignore it

In the pose mode you can make characters chubby or thin so I guess that means body diversity is coming!!

A lot of people (in general) are missing the fact that the game is still under heavy construction. I don’t think any of us are going to recognize the final product or any of the characters we know and love right now.

yes! for a while now, there wasn’t much diversity, but that was due to a technical standpoint. now that dev has a mostly functional game, he’s adding more diversity. whether that be by his own will or through what the audience wanted, it doesn’t really matter. i think it’d be nice to see a few more skin tones (since most japanese people aren’t quite that pale) but overall the game is much more diverse than only a year ago.

i was rewatching the osana sabotage video, and i was wondering what the consequences of putting a picture of a corpse into osana’s phone would be. yknow, how would senpai react, would it be another way to frame her if the police get called, etc

Every now and then, I like to share an insider’s perspective on Yandere Simulator on this blog. Now, I don’t like to share details about people’s personal lives, but I have to make an exception just this once.

There’s one good thing that has come from this whole “gremlin” situation: YandereDev has realized that Midori and her emails are not “the biggest problem facing Yandere Simulator’s development” as he once believed. In fact, he actually welcomes her emails now, which is why he took down his old video ranting about the subject. He realized how lucky he is to have passionate fans like her and to be able to talk to them. Likewise, she’s reached a greater understanding of why he loses his temper and kills her now and then.

During a stream, when YandereDev was asked who his favorite student was at Akademi, he said Midori, because she’s the most helpful when it comes to testing gameplay. That usually involves killing her, but it’s still nice to hear they’re working together. I hope things continue to go well for them.

I know what you might be thinking, but her official age has yet to be decided, so I’m going to refrain from saying I ship it for now.

I have this idea that if Ayano joins the sports club, she should get access to those swimming goggles. They would protect her from the student council’s pepper spray. I imagine the student council members are smart enough to not try to pepper spray someone wearing goggles, so they would take a different course of action. Probably try fighting Ayano or go tell a teacher. Maybe something different entirely.
