OKW’s Alvacoat® process metalizes the inside of your electronics cases with a layer of aluminum. This offers better attenuation levels and is more durable than traditional RFI shielding with metal loaded paints.

The Alvacoat® system uses vaporized aluminum in a vacuum centrifuge to coat the interior of the housing – giving it a much more even and consistent coating for superior performance.

OKW has extended its CARRYTEC range of portable plastic electronics enclosures with new larger size M housings – and unveiled a new charging/data transfer station. CARRYTEC clips into the station at a 15-degree viewing angle. Data transfer and charging can be accommodated by fitting the accessory 5-pole contacts to the case and station base parts. CARRYTEC ABS enclosures are aimed at the medical instrumentation sector – accessories include a special clamp for tubes or rails. Applications also include monitoring, communications and data recording. Tougher fiberglass reinforced polyamide (PA GV) versions are also available for outdoor applications such as agriculture and forestry. There is also an optional IP54 sealing kit. Versatile New CARRYTEC Handheld Plastic Enclosures

OKW has launched the all-new CARRYTEC range of plastic enclosures for portable electronics equipment. They have a modern contoured design and an integrated ergonomic handle for convenient portability. Typical applications include medical equipment; data recording and monitoring; communications; safety systems; measuring and control plus agricultural and forest management electronics. CARRYTEC plastic electronics cases are available in two sizes: 8.74” x 8.07” x 3.15” and 10.62” x 9.72” x 3.58”. They are molded in: •    Off-white ABS (UL 94 HB) for indoor use •    Lava Gray fiberglass reinforced polyamide (PA GV) for tougher outdoor applications. An optional sealing kit is also available for extra protection, making them IP54 enclosures. CARRYTEC enclosures consist of three molded parts: top, bottom and soft-touch TPE handle.
