A lil recap of Vio and Vlad... I dunno how to call it. First night together as more than friends? ...Because the heath is killing me and my brain is so stuck I'm having a real hard time putting down the ideas I have to go on!
But well, I like them a lot, and they're cheesy as hell. But dumb at the same time. And seeing all the pages I managed to finish so far in one single post makes me happeh ^.^
Greetings.
I've been informed through my sources that you're feeling, uh, "mopey". Whatever it means in that commoner European language, I'd like to express my gratitude for the love you've graced me with, even if my outstanding charisma makes it an easy task for most.
I'm wishing you all the best, and what is best if it is not me?.
The only kind of vacation old Vlad can afford... (And also wants, according to his mapa, @ouroboros-hideout )
The answer to the question if he's wearing a swimming suit under the water will stay between him, me and Vio. But for @blackrevell the answer will always be: no
P.s. @blackrevelldlc at the beginning I didn't tag you. But you provoked me.

P.s. @blackrevelldlc at the beginning I didn't tag you. But you provoked me.
And the last page! Sadly I've decided to go on with the comic from this part of their story (and probably one day I'll even draw what happened before that)... So I dunno when it will be over... Yeah, I'm doing the worst thing ever, make things up as I go!!! (Thankfully not the story, this is taken from a text I've got in my cave of wonders)
I love them cringefail drama teen- I wished, they are 20 yo...
P.s. Agent Bubele is a little (mean) nickname Violet and Elroy gave Vlad when he was a kid. His grandma used to call him her bubele, and he kept saying he would have become a big detective or secret agent of some sort... So yeah, Agent Bubele. Vlad didn't like it at all...
First page: here - Second page: here - Third page: here
- last song: Heavenly while I run I listen to one song on repeat. Lately this is the song! (Great blorbos visual btw)
- current obsession: One week ago my answer would have been Violad, Violad and only Violad in every sauce. But then @blackrevell showed us The room. It deleted everything else. (I'm kidding. Maybe)
- currently reading: I'm an embarassment, I yet have to finish Interview with the Vampire (started months ago). I should give up and move to Il custode (the custodian?) by Ammaniti, already.
- currently working on: I'm kinda cool with a first part of the blorbo night out super lil comic and moving to the little talks big blorbo comic. Probably I'll go back to the young nuggets one day, but it can only get worse (the part I described was a small frangment where they looked kinda cool).
- currently wearing: A t-shirt with a cat in a bottle with a disclaimer "don't open. Evil inside". The cat is saying "Do it!". And denim shorts.
- last search: bread cooked in a cast-iron pot. I needed the recipe.
Because I have a feeling that's your type of cute shit you would enjoy drawing. But to make it a challenge I want all three of them in their snuggle onesie!
Thank you <3
Here they are! As I warned in the (deleted) tag game post it would have taken ages for me to decide to post it XD.
But here they are… even if we all know Vlad truly should be a penguin or a goose, I gave him the kigurumi he would most likely wear without making too much of a fuss about it XD
A fun lil thing I've compiled for Vio (and Roy too, soon)
The playlist
I have a bunch of other Vio's playlists... This is the short version.
Theme song: This Is Who I Am - Celeste.
Since I've changed up the kindergarten age to make them all kind of the same age (and all posh as hell) this song was really "Violet".
And you know me like a river knows how to flow/ My body is the story you were always told/ The sun may rise, the sun may fall/ But only you may ever see me true/ So only you can tell that this is who I am/ This is who I am
Send the white horses, seems I've exhausted/ Those fickle games I play/ Seen my good fortune made/ For only you may ever see me true/ So only you can tell them this is who I am/ This is who I am.
Violet has always had as a theme the "hiding her real self" and the contraposition between what other people see and what she is. Vlad and Elroy, knowing her since she was a kid, are the only ones who can see through the facade, understanding who she is.
Lyrically accurate:
Sleepsong - Bastille
What can I say, I like Bastille. This in my head was the type of words a kid Roy would have whispered to his sister to put her to sleep, and again when she was stuck in bed. About the neediness for affection, and to cling to someone, even if it's unhealthy, to overcome the solitude.
The Soprano & Midnight Wonderings - Bastille
A lot of these are a bit shippy. This was about well, the lost things, especially Vlad. The way he turned into someone with different versions of himself, the (kind of) good one he showed to them, and the things they heard about him that were way less flattering.
Soaked Eyes- Adna
Because in the end she's a sad mopey bebe...
Vibe accurate:
Fishtail - Lana Del Rey
Of The Night - Bastille
Hollywood - Ditonellapiaga
There are a bit of phrases I find accurate in these too, but just glimpses. They kinda fit the sad dramatic vibe though.
Their Mixtape!
Modern Love - WARGASM (UK)
Side Effect - FKA Raye
Frédéric Chopin - Valse de l'adieu
Carla Bruni - Le ciel dans une chambre
Vio's listening habits are as chaotic as my own. From punk/metal to electronic stuff to classical music and old classic. The french song is actually based on an italian one I like a lot... But well, Vio talks english and french, and this felt fitting as a song she would have sung to Vlad during his episodes.
Songs that play during their...
Introduction: The End - Samantha Margret
If their story had a theme song it would be this! It's gonna be also in Roy's playlist!
Fight Scene: HELLFIRE - FEVER 33
This is just to remind me that even if Vio doesn't look like it much anymore she's still a lil badass xD
Flashback: For the first time, again - Tyler Ballgame
I was writing about the... Third time when they got together. Vio said to Vlad: "I don't want any "first time" again." And in that moment I heard this song. Of course after that time he'll die and disappear for 12 years... So once again they'll have to start all over as if it was the first time again. But it is a nice song that makes me envision Vladdy driving his truck through all of Siberia.
Victory: Paint the town blue - Ashnikko
Another one to remind me that even if Vio doesn't look like it much anymore she's still a lil badass xD
Failure: Peachy - Slumber
It's also among Roy's lyrically accurate songs... I've always imagined him saying these words to Violet in her darkest moments, trying to convince her that everything was ok.
Confession: Let It Go - Chandler Leighton, Lø Spirit
Because the confession is not really about romance but more about her failures and how she might have wanted to give everything up, and about what she scares her about herself and about Vlad.
Death: Life Eternal - Ghost
At first it was another song... But @ouroboros-hideout had a really good brainrot moment about how Vio and Vlad when super old might decide that it's ok to finally die together. This song was in their playlist since their first delirious version and fits even more with that idea.
Romance: Spiracle - Flower Face
I have a shitton of different shippy songs in their playlists of course... And I should use different songs for different parts of their life because their relationship really changes as they grow older. But this really fits Vio's affection towards Vlad... In the good and in the bad. Boro also had a good "sailor" piece about Vlad and Gazelle so it's a good reference. And well, Vlad described as a butterfly is good too xD
This is not really a tag game but i know that @ouroboros-hideout already compiled it, so you’re up, bebe! It also feels like something @cotton-candy-merc might love.
And for a momentit doesn't matter… that the rhythm of the music is completely different from our own. Or that the people around us are jumping and screaming.
Yeah, apparently I completely lost any interest in VP out of the blue. The BLORBOS are still pretty much in my heart and I still love them and want to torture them as always...
But the time I spent on VP, now I spend on drawings and lil comics. Which is cool, because I'm probably more free to do what I want! (And draw Vio in all the fancy clothes I want without having to model them myself!)
So yeah, nothing, ramblings. That's the reason why you don't see much VP from me anymore :unsupervised_vio:
The neglected son deserves a rewriting of her big introduction too (Violet had 3... he only 1 so far...)
✨️TELL ME ABOUT YOUR OCS✨️
•Name: Elroy Vincennes
•Nicknames: Usually people call him Mr. Vincennes. His friends call him Elroy. His CLOSEST friends call him Roy. Only Violet calls him Roro.
•Age: 55 in 2077
•Pronouns: He/Him
•Sexuality: He doesn't care about what people have in their pants, but what's in their head. So he's pansexual, but in truth, he isn’t really interested in sex.
•Hair Color and style: Dark red, usually worn short and combed back. When he's older he starts to show a few grey strands.
•Eye Color: Light brown with a hint of gold. It might sound like a surprise, but they are his natural eyes. He has very little chrome and it's just aesthetic.
In 2077 he lost one eye. He could replace it, but decided to keep it as it is. He doesn't want to install cyberware… and in that moment of his life he finds appealing the idea of terrifying people with his blind eye.
•Height: 178 cm.
•Body Type: Quite average. He's used to creating art with metal, glass, and whatever inspires him, so he's used to some sort of hard work, but he doesn't work out.
•Personality: Clever, extrovert, enthusiastic about the best things in life. Extremely hedonist. Loves to observe people and molds himself on them. So his tone and behavior might change according to who is in front of him. He can be a bit of a manipulator... mostly with people he doesn't care about, but also with the ones he cares a bout if he thinks it's for their own good. Has a hard time forming romantic relationships and at this point in his life he doesn't care at all about it.
•Tattoos: A series of paint strokes that from his fingers run through his arms. He designed and tattooed it himself and every stroke represents a close person he lost or drove away.
•Piercings: A gold stud.
•Any definable features such as: Birthmarks, Scars, Freckles, Beauty Marks, Accent when they talk, Lisp, Natural slurring of words, Walk with a subtle limp, etc.
A few scars on his face, gifts from a chaotic youth. He has only some golden fashionware around his eyes. It's just an aestethic thing.
•Hobbies: Everything that's good in life. The thing he loves the most of course is art, but he's also passionate about music (old French classics he sang with his mother and sister, classical music, and then, out of the blue Taylor Swift), fine wine, and fine dining. Literature and poetry. Vintage decors, vintage cars, high-end clothing. He truly is an eclectic character who knows and is passionate about many things.
•Gang/Occupation {Mox, Max Tac, etc}
He's really independent. Everyone who can pay is welcome to do business with him. Since 2070 he has had a close cooperation with Kurt Hansen.
•Do they smoke? Yes. Rolled-up cigarettes, pipes, or cigars.
•Do they drink? If so, what's their poison of choice? Yes, of course. Wine, French, and especially red. Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon. He also likes the Beaujolais Nouveau, especially for the ritualistic party that he has every year with his friend Vlad (and well, the rest of France).
•What do they usually wear on a normal day?
Usually, he wears suits in dark gray, red, or black. Always with fancy fabrics. At home, he usually wears an open shirt and dark pants or a silk robe. If he's working on his artistic projects… well, tank tops and old ripped jeans. But only Violet can enter his studio so nobody else has seen him in that outfit.
•What do they wear when they "Get dressed up"? And what would be considered a "special occasion" to them {such as an "Oh they're gonna be there so I have to look my best." Or an "It's our anniversary".}
The suits tend to turn more eccentric and a bit more colorful. He loves brocade and tends to gravitate to autumn colors. Copper, gold, bronze, dark red, and green are colors that he loves and suit him.
A special occasion for him is usually a big party he's hosting. Usually on New Year's Eve. That's the only thing he considers fancy enough to spruce his outfit up at the maximum level. He dresses well anyway, but that's an over-the-top special event.
•What do they smell like? {For example: they smell like cinnamon-flavored liquor, cigarettes, leather, and motor oil.}
He uses a particular perfume his buddy has gifted him. Oud wood with patchouli and musk, with a lavender’s and saffron’s hint.
Without it probably tobacco.
•How do they walk? Do they sway their hips? Do they walk with a sense of determination? Do they bounce as they walk? Etc.
Confident, really relaxed, and often smiling. He doesn't have a fast stride and doesn't need to be intimidating. The pace of someone who truly believes in himself and has nothing to prove.
•Are they more of an early bird or a night owl?
He's a “not sleep at all” guy.
He sleeps from 6 to 9 every day and to him, it's already too much.
Not really, but it explains the dark circles around his eyes.
He had periods in his youth when he couldn't sleep at all. Violet helped him to establish some sort of schedule by playing some music at the piano for him. So usually, when they are together, she wakes up at 5.45, plays for him and then goes on with her day.
•If you had to use one word to define them, what word would you use?
A shithead. Eclectic.
•What words or catchphrases do they say that's unique to that character?
I wouldn't call it a catchphrase, but an iconic phrase he says to different people in different interactions (usually when he pissed them off) is: “Everything is a game”.
It well embodies his way of seeing everything as a convoluted game where he'd sacrifice almost everything just to win.
•Favorite Season
Autumn. In France.
•Favorite type of weather {Thunderstorms, sunny, etc}
Foggy mornings that turn into cold sunny days.
•Do they have someone they're with relationship-wise? If so, who?
Not actually. He isn't interested in love at this point in his life. He has friends and likes to observe them live their lives.
•Main Ship/Pairings:
He had a girl when he was young, Sophie. They were in love and even got married, but she died of an overdose. He feels really guilty about it because he was the one procuring her drugs. Since then he never got with anyone else. He doesn't care a lot about sex anyway.
Many argue that he's basically in a relationship with his adopted sister and especially in their late life gossip about them and their matching jewelry.
Elroy and Violet find the whole concept ridiculous and laugh a lot about it.
•Side Pairings:
Vlad. Kidding, none.
•Favorite/Self-indulgent Pairings
The BrOTP with Vlad. Their relationship is weirdly positive and enriching for both of them. It's cozy. Also his relationship with Violet is lovely… mind me, they fight a lot (I have a drawing somewhere of Vio and Roy screaming at each other while Vlad listens to music between them)... But in the end they are on the same side and love each other a lot.
Vio is the only… non negotiable person in Elroy’s life. Everyone else is expendable, she isn't.
•How do they show affection to their loved one?
He spends time with them, sharing the thing he loves the most. Eating together, drinking together, and talking a lot. He loves to show them beautiful things: art in every form, nature, and cities. And he's also quite generous with gifts. There are really few people he cares about, but he likes to share everything he can with them.
•How do they sit in a chair?
Comfortable, calm, leaning on the backrest, legs often crossed. If it's an armchair he'd spread his arms on the armrests, if not he rests them on his lap.
•How do they sit in a chair {uncomfortable version}
The same as before. It's really hard to make him feel uncomfortable… and even if he is, he is really good at masking it.
•What do they wear to bed?
A few drops of Chanel n° 5. Kidding, but he doesn't wear anything. I'm afraid that some of his guests have seen him wearing only an open silk robe when he comes out for breakfast.
•How do they usually sleep? {Side sleeper, back, fetal position, backward, nest sleeper, blanket mountain, etc}
He takes his space. Usually on his back, his arm spread over a lot of cushions.
•How do they sleep in a place they don't know? {Can't due to anxiety, in small bursts of sleep that are short-lived, holding themselves, etc}
He usually doesn't sleep in places he feels uncomfortable (or he feels comfortable everywhere…).
•Do they have to have a form of "white noise" in order to sleep? {The sound of a fan, the sound of rain, the sound of a city, etc}
Violet's piano music, to help him drift to sleep. If he's in France during the summer he opens the windows and listens to the sounds of nature.
•What's a place they go to feel comfortable, that's their "spot" they always go when they're upset?
France. His family estate is in Saint-Remy-de-Provence. He loves that place, it reminds him of his mother.
•What do they do when they're nervous? {Fidget with jewelry, pick at nails, bite nails/lips, play with knife/zippo lighter, etc}
He's rarely nervous, but when he is he tends to joke and laugh more.
•What is their "tell" for lying?
None. He's used to lying and is extremely good at it. He practically wears a mask in every social interaction, so you could argue that it's hard to differentiate when he's lying because he's always lying. So probably 2-3 people on earth know how he is while he's not wearing a mask.
•What is their favorite color?
Warm and autumn tones. Copper and gold fit him a lot and he likes them.
•Favorite flower/plant
He likes lavender and vine.
•Favorite sweet of choice
The apple strudel his sister makes. Not really. But when they were kids and she made it for Vlad, he was such an asshole about it that Roy declared that it was the best sweet he ever ate.
Later in their life, after Vlad died he now and then asks her to make it. It's a thing they do together when they're bummed. They talk, they cook, and then when they eat it everything feels a bit lighter.
•Do they have any pets? If so, tell me about them
He has animals in his estate in Provence, but I wouldn't call them his pets.
He had a (series) of hunting dogs. All called Sigebert. All with different nicknames. Vlad and then Violet had Firebird JR… not his dog but he lives with them.
•What are their triggers {If they have any}? If so, what calms them down?
When he was young the sense of guilt about letting his girlfriend die.
Violet and his mother Liliane helped him to overcome that.
After Violet's little stunt while trying to find Vlad again, the fear of being left behind was focused completely on her. Violet was no longer something he could afford to lose and everything he did had the purpose of keeping her alive, at the point of chroming her up to make her survive.
I think that after she had her cyberpsycho break down and almost killed him (lucky not to be chromed up, I think she offed everyone that she could hack in the proximity) he might have been truly scared of her for a while. He still loves her, with all his heart… but instinctively he knows she can be no less bad than Vlad.
•If they could visit anywhere in the world, where would they go and why?
He's been around a lot. When he travels for pleasure, he goes back home.
•What is their favorite comfort meal?
He likes a lot of different dishes, but the one that speaks to his heart is roasted chicken. His grandma during his family vacations used to make it and he remembers fondly that the chicken was running around the yard at 11 and at 12.30 was on the table.
He didn't know how she prepared it so quickly, but it had a different flavor from anything he tasted in his life.
•Do they have a food they hate?
Everything industrial-made, or made without care.
•What is their favorite {non-alcoholic} drink?
Nonalcoholic??? Water rusts bridges, you know? But probably sparkling water. Not the type for soft drinks.
•What are their plans for the future {if they have any}?
In 78-80 keep things as they are. He's in a good place. Calm, self-content, enjoying friendships and a good life.
•What's a song that "fits" them?
Only one????
Bastille · “&” (Ampersand), Part One · Song · 2024
•Give me 5 facts/random bits of information about them
He loves to sing old French love songs.
Every time he meets with Vlad he comes up with some silly thing to do together. Or weird gifts to give him. Vlad is rarely amused.
Every year on New Year's Eve he has a big party. A. BIG. PARTY. Something super lavish and extravagant, in a new location every year, with new different attractions every year. He calls it “La Fête de la fin du Mot” or “World’s End Party”.
He has a vintage Polaroid camera he brings around everywhere. He likes to take pictures of whatever tickles his interest. He rarely lends it: the only people he trusts with it are Violet and barely Vlad.
He'd never put it into Kurt's clumsy big pawns.
He got married in secret. The only person that knew was Vlad. He still wears his wedding ring, though. “To keep the old chicks away,” he says.
•Give me their backstory {can be long, or brief.}
Born in France on the 19th of November 2024. His mother was an eccentric and quite famous actress at the time. His father came from old money and had a good position in Eurobank. He grew up in France and when he was eight years old he met Vlad for the first time. Their mothers used to be close friends and both of them agreed that it would have been nice for their children to become friends too.
After two years, his family decided to adopt another child, and during a trip in Night City he met Violet at an orphanage and out of the blue decided she was his sister and he wouldn't have wanted anyone else. A few months later she was adopted in the family and moved to France. When Elroy was eighteen he moved to Night City, a bit to truly see where his sister had grown up, a bit to get rid of his family’s control and prove to everyone that he could do something of himself on his own.
He met a girl, quickly got married and they were happy for some years, until she died of an overdose.
Elroy too, had some addiction issues, so he decided to go back home, entered rehab and started to work on his first art show. He also started to work now and then with Violet on some little data retrieving missions.
At the opening of his art gallery he met again his childhood friend Vlad, and soon after, Vlad and Violet got together and she moved to Russia. In the meantime Elroy kept working, both on his art and his fixer status, taking up bigger and more intricate missions. The thrill of managing people and different layers of truth and lies was something that kept him alive, and sober.
Despite the ups and down of his sister's relationship with Vlad they always remained friends, until 2061 when Vlad, after one year living and working together, decided to go back to Russia to work for SovOil. He really was pissed off about the idea of his friend throwing his life away for a corporation that so far only hurted him, and he didn't even listen to his sister who claimed that Vlad had his reasons. He knew at the time that Violet and Vlad kept seeing each other but turned a blind eye to it (pun not intended…), until Violet almost got herself killed during a raid against SovOil in the attempt to find out if Vlad was truly dead.
It took her a lot of time to recover, only Elroy’s stubbornness keeping her alive in the meantime. He slowly replaced every part of her that needed replacing, until when she woke up, a year after, she was completely chromed up.
He persuaded Violet to definetly let go of Vlad and get back to their jobs, until in 2070 when he decided to work with Kurt Hansen and moved with her to Night City.
They lived mainly there, helping to set up the Black Sapphire and the commercial trading in Dogtown.
In 2077, though during Songbird's escape, Violet got caught in the (digital) crossfire, and had a cyberpsychotic episode that cost him his eye and almost his life.
Elroy didn't approve of Hansen’s plan from the beginning but he kept hanging in Dogtown. Violet was still in no condition to go back in France. They were reached there by Aon, and a still alive Vlad. Only then he decided to go back home, with Violet and Vlad, to try and go back to how they were.
•Free Space! Give me any sort of extra information about them you'd like to share
The worst gift he gave to Vlad is probably a thong, made of silk with red stars.
The neglected son deserves a rewriting of her big introduction too (Violet had 3... he only 1 so far...)

•How do they sit in a chair {uncomfortable version}
•How do they usually sleep? {Side sleeper, back, fetal position, backward, nest sleeper, blanket mountain, etc}
He takes his space. Usually on his back, his arm spread over a lot of cushions.
•How do they sleep in a place they don't know? {Can't due to anxiety, in small bursts of sleep that are short-lived, holding themselves, etc}
He usually doesn't sleep in places he feels uncomfortable (or he feels comfortable everywhere…).
•Do they have to have a form of "white noise" in order to sleep? {The sound of a fan, the sound of rain, the sound of a city, etc}
•What do they do when they're nervous? {Fidget with jewelry, pick at nails, bite nails/lips, play with knife/zippo lighter, etc}
•Give me their backstory {can be long, or brief.}
