In the shadowban realm again byeeeee
can someone please be proud of me like fuck I’m trying
reblog to let prev know you’re proud of them
Why do I feel like the only damn person in my daily life who is against AI. And people treat ME like I’m crazy for it. Is everyone truly this brain dead? This all literally feels a nightmare where there’s a tornado out the window and no one will look or believe you
Btw, everything we post on the internet is being increasingly gobbled down by AI for its training data sets. We are being non consensually forced to build the very thing that will destroy meaningful life as we know it, and that is the creepiest thing I could imagine. I no longer post my art online, because AI combs the internet to steal your work to incorporate into its models. Text AI has so far been taking a back seat but is ramping up at an exponential pace. I guarantee it will become exceptionally widespread in the next few years and incorporated into everything digital we use. There will come a time where I wipe all of my years of blogging and writing off the internet, but I don’t know when I will pull the plug. I resent having to do that, but I absolutely refuse to participate in what’s coming.
What AI will destroy is the very essence of the human experience— thinking, learning, and doing. It aims to think for us, eliminate the need to learn skills, and eliminate the need to execute them. When you are not thinking, not learning, and are not doing, what is there left?
The answer is consuming. AI creates a world where we live to do nothing but consume, and the things we consume are created not by humans, but by algorithms trained to mimic the most digestible, replicable stereotypes of human thought and behavior. Proponents of AI ask “why spend days, weeks, or months creating something AI can generate in seconds?” are really asking, whether they recognize it or not, “why create?”
Why create? Why “do”? Because we are animals. That is what our bodies and minds exist for. We have brains to think and hands to build. The very action of thinking and doing is what keeps us mentally and physically healthy. Is it a sign of how thoroughly technology and capitalism have destroyed our minds that so many of us cannot remember that there is joy and pleasure in the very process of doing, thinking, making, and creating?
We have to remember. We have to protect the act of doing and never let it go. It is quite literally the only thing there is.
The unethical extremes of capitalistic competition has combined with AI technology and the result will haunt humanity for as long as it has left.
I’m at the point where I’m seriously tempted to print this manifesto from the third reblog and paste it up everywhere as fliers. Not that anyone would take it seriously but I can’t just sit here quietly as things fall apart. Why are people not thinking this through? Why can no one see how horrific this technology is, especially unregulated, especially because we couldn’t regulate it even if we wanted to at the pace it’s developing?
Y'all, AI isn't an issue, it's going to take over eventually.
Not sure how you read all of that including the laying off of ethics teams at the major companies and concluded there are no issues with AI. Or are you merely adopting a defeatist mindset where you might as well accept the evil things that you feel powerless to stop or change?
Artists who know how to draw armors or very detailed clothing are powerful
oh to draw embroidery like Alexander Roslin does
See it’s stuff like this that makes me believe that selling your soul to the devil in exchange for talent was a real career track in the 1700s.

not to give this post an annoying unwanted response but i’m going to do just that because it adds more context
as a subtle link expressions expert i have to say he does smile around zelda more often. however these screenshots were all from 100 years ago while his food reactions are post-slumber of restoration
creating a champion explains this pre- and post- slumber of restoration difference. it was also elucidated in zelda’s diary but creating a champion gives us confirmation of his personality change. he didn’t emote much before the slumber of restoration erased his memories because he felt like he had to silently bear everything upon his shoulders to set a good example at all times. but after the slumber of restoration, the kingdom is pretty much fallen and it’s just made up of sparse communities across the land where nobody really knows him (save for the zora), nor does he remember them either.
and free from that burdened feeling he is more like his natural uninhibited self
(he’s totally a foodie though and that’s how zelda got him to open up to her in the first place 100 years ago)
but it’s not just food, he does become more expressive around other people too
i’ve also compiled pretty much everything link says from the game’s files and written about it
Words for men: Wahoo! Wahey! Yippee! Woo hoo! Tee hee!
Words for women: Tch. Heh. OK. Lol. Cool. Fine.
This os SO ADORABLE AND WHOLESOME
Me: *carrying my ball python around the garden* This is enrichment. Do you feel the sunlight? Do you feel the breeze? This is what they’re doing at the zoos right now except you’re not a penguin or a sloth. Isn’t this stimulating? Don’t you feel more active and aware from all of the new sensory information you’re taking in outside your tank? Are you having fun?
