Ash smiled into the second kiss and wrapped her arms around him tightly. “There’s no way I would have ever said no to this, Alex. I’m so happy, I could jump up and down, but I’m not going to because we’re at the top of a fucking Ferris wheel, but oh my god. Am I allowed to cry? Because I just wanna cry, I’m so fucking happy,” she said as tears began streaming down her face while she kissed him again.

Alex listened to her babble. He loved the sound of her voice so much he could listen to it for the rest of his life, which is exactly what he was planning on doing. "You can do whatever you want, babe." He said, smiling and laughing a little bit. "Except try not to rock this cart thing too much because heights aren't my favorite thing in the world," he told her while he wiped some of her tears away before returning the kiss.

Ash smiled and looked down at the ring again, before leaning over and kissing Alex passionately. “Oh my fucking god, it’s perfect Alex! Am I supposed to say ‘yes’ or something? Whatever, yes, yes. Absolutely, holy shit. Holy shit!” she screamed with a smile. Realizing a few tears had fallen, she wiped them away, and gave a light laugh. “Jesus Christ, Alexander Henry Adams, if I wasn’t in love with you beofre, I sure as hell am now. And let m clarify that I’ve been in love with you for a while. I’m gonna stop talking now,” she said before wrapping her arms around him again and kissing him again.

Alex kissed her back, holding onto the back of her neck and pulling her closer than they already were. "Good, Ashton Marie Jones, otherwise that would have made this whole interaction pretty uncomfortable." He laughed and kissed her again. "I love you more than you can imagine." His arms wrapped around her once more.

Ash noticed him putting something onto her hand and looked over at him. She realized it was her left ring finger and almost started freaking out in the middle of the gondola. “Alex,” she said smiling and taking a deep breath. “W-What is this?” She liked the ring, it was a cute simple, silver, knot ring. Ash just wanted to know if there were any implications of anything since he put it on that specific finger.

"Well," He started with some fake confidence. Or smugness. "Apparently it's called a promise ring. And the knot symbolizes the intentions of eventually tying the knot. Just not yet," Alex's voice got quieter as he continued. He still waited for more of a reaction from her. They were at the top of the Ferris Wheel now. They could see the whole park and parts of the town if they looked around. But all he could see was her.

Ash sighed and leaned her head on his shoulder, relaxing into the moment. “It’s funny, from up here, Allenwood doesn’t look so bad. Just a tiny ass town in New Jersey.” Laughing at what he’d said she looked over at where he was pointing. “That might actually be your house, babe. It looks like it could be.” They were about a quarter of the way up when she took his other hand and intertwined it with hers, almost wanting to rest her legs on his to relax even more. “These kinda heights aren’t so bad since I’m with you.”

Alex pulled her closer to him. Even thought it was hot and humid outside, he'd rather have her close. "Yeah.." He sighed, finally relaxing for the first time on this ride. A small laugh escaped his throat. "You know, you're probably right." He looked down and grabbed her hand and started to play with her finger with one of his hands. He smiled at what she said, making him feel better about what he was about to do. While he was playing with her fingers, he casually slipped on a ring with a simple knot on it and prayed to god her reaction would be a positive one. "I love you more," was all he whispered.

"Well, I don’t think you want the entire park oogling at my chest, now do you babe?" she asked smiling up at him. Ash noticed his glances over at the Ferris wheel and gave an interested smirk at him. "I have a feeling you want me to pick the Ferris wheel… so, let’s do it." She stood in the line with him and gave him a soft kiss on the lips, "I love you so much, Alex," she whispered into the kiss. In a few minutes they were entering the gondola and slowly being lifted into the air.

"That's true," he nodded. "I-um..sure!" Alex stuttered then went with it. He kissed his girlfriend back. "I love you so much, too." Alex told her. They got into the gondola and he wrapped an arm around her, trying not to show any nervousness. Every couple of seconds, the Ferris Wheel would stop and they would sit there in the air. "I can basically see my house from here because Allenwood is so fucking small," Alex joked, pointing out into the distance where you could see a few nearby buildings.

"I would love to go on that ride with you, babe," Ash said smiling and linking elbows with him. She walked with him over to the log flume ride and stood in line with him. Ash liked that she wasn’t guessing boundaries with him this time as she was the last time she was here with him. Wrapping her arms around his waist, she hugged him tightly. "You’re the best boyfriend in the world, Alex," she said into his chest, still holding onto him. When the boat that they were supposed to get on came up, she put one of her legs on the opposite side of the bench and straddled the seat that was provided for them, leaning up against Alex. As the little log took them through an off-color stream, the girl intertwined her hands with the boy behind her’s and waited for the big drop. The log went down with a crash into the water as it sprayed the two of them and everyone else in their log. As they exited the ride Ash re-connected hands with Alex and said, "Well, I’m happy I wasn’t wearing a white shirt today." The girl walked back into the sun to dry off a little bit and turned to her boyfriend, "What next, Alex?"

Alex hugged his girlfriend back and gave a toothy smile, even though she couldn't see it because she was hugging him. "Well shucks," he whispered to her. The thing he noticed about amusement parks is that you stand in line forever only to ride whatever ride you're waiting for for about a minute. They got off the ride and Alex swung their hands and arms back and forth as they walked playfully. "I'm not," He smirked at her, only half kidding. "Now it's your turn to decide." Alex told her, looking around the park. His eyes landed on the Ferris Wheel, but then quickly went back to Ash and tried to give another helpful smile while she decided.

Ash leaned over a put her head on his shoulder. “For nostalgia’s sake, we could totally go to the photo booth, but why do that when you already have this amazing picture of us already?” she laughed and took a look around the park that was presented to her. “Uhm, what about the teacups?” the teacups kept her on the ground, but was still kind of a ride. The line was fairly short and they were queued up to be the next one’s on the ride. the pair of them got into a teacup and began spinning it around and around as fast as they could until the two of them couldn’t see straight. After they got off and got their balance back, she took both of Alex’s hands in hers and lingered her eyes on his. “Now, Alexander. What do you want to do?”
