New Tattoo{Vincent Hyde}

"C'mon it'll be cool." "I don't know Vince, you know I don't like tattooing my friends." "Yeah but I'm your boyfriend so it's different! "That makes it worse!"  This had been the conversation for a few days now, Vincent had decided he wanted a new tattoo and he wanted specifically you, his totally awesome tattoo artist girlfriend to do it.  You couldn't even explain what is was that made you so reluctant to do it, you knew you had the skill for what he wanted so it wasn't really a valid excuse to say you thought you'd mess it up. Maybe it was just that you didn't want to constantly see it and be able to pick out changes you could no longer make as time went on but Vince wasn't taking no for an answer.  

 It was three weeks till you finally caved. "Hey, Y/N? About the tattoo..." "Oh my god fine, I'll do it!" His face lit up, "Really?" "Yes really. Come by the shop tomorrow." "Love you," He smiled, kissing your cheek. "Yeah yeah, Love you too." Vincent did exactly what you told him, showing up to the shop in the morning after your first few appointments complete with a tray of coffee for everyone in the shop, along with his own.  "Okay get in the chair," You grinned, snapping on a new pair of gloves while Vincent shrugged his jacket off and got comfy, holding his arm out for you to place the stencil you'd drawn up on to him. He inspected it while you got the machine ready and nodded, as a way of approving that nothing needed changing.  "Ready?" "As ever," He laughed, leaning forward slightly and giving you a kiss. "I'm sure most couples don't spend their time stabbing each other with needles," You laughed, kissing him back before starting your work. "Good job we're not most couples then, right?"

You groaned, cracking your eyes open slightly and smiling upon seeing Sid. “Hey there beautiful,” He grinned. “Hey,” you mumbled, leaning up and giving him a kiss, “I didn't mean to fall asleep. I wanted to be up when you got home.” “It's fine. I don't blame you, it's pretty late. C'mon,” He held out his hand to pick you up off the couch and wrapped his arms around you. The two of you standing for a few seconds like that before he moved and took hold of your hand, leading you up to your room. He let go of you so you could climb into bed sleepily, while he went to get ready for bed, leaving you to wrap yourself up in the warm blankets until he came back. Your were drifting off again by the time he slipped under the covers, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you close against his chest. “Love you, Y/N,” he whispered, kissing the top of your head. “Love you too, Sid,” You smiled, nuzzling into his neck to fall asleep. So comfortable that is was exactly where you felt you were meant to be.
