Hi, everyone! I guess I kinda made this on a whim, seeing as most of everybody else has an account on here, so I'm not entirely sure what to say yet. It'll come to me! For now, I'll start with something simple: I'm Ukyo and I'm responsible for sonar on the water and security on land! I'm also a pretty good archer, or so I'd like to think.

I'm just here to chat with some friends! So I may get a bit silly from time to time. Please excuse me.

opinion on the glorious kohaku

Glorious? Sure. She's an exceptional fighter, and honestly kind of scary. But she's incredible!! That eyesight of hers, too... And even if she doesn't come across this way, she's strategic. I think she needs a place among the wise generals. We'd do well to have a lot more of her input.

I am simply a warrior who says what she sees. If my eyesight or instincts are useful, then I will use them for the Kingdom of Science. That's all.

As for being one of the wise generals... I’ll leave that job to you all. You guys have a knack for thinking several steps ahead—I admittedly think in the moment. Still... if you believe my perspective can help everyone, then I'll speak up more often.

We'd love that! Sure, we have five different perspectives already, but none of us have nearly as much combat experience as you do. Ryusui and I are more long-range specialists, and the others... Um, are limited in their... Combat skills. So it would be good to get the P.O.V. of someone who fights up close.

You still have to let loose sometimes. I don't know about America, but in my time with the Japanese forces, there was never really any serious war. In times like that, it's kind of a waste to be completely serious all the time.

Man 😭 that sounds accurate. I remember making the mistake of going below deck one time and five seconds after I entered the hatch, I was immediately bombarded with hysterical laughter and some kind of nonsense-- I don't even remember what it was they were saying!! I just remember the feeling of utter confusion, like "I'm in the literal military and this is what happens??? You'd think it'd be more serious!!"

It was almost never serious.

Tsukasa and Kohaku? You're asking the wrong question. One's an absurdly reliable powerhouse, the other's got enough combat instinct to make a predator nervous. They're both invaluable.

If you're asking what actually catches my attention, it's someone who isn't afraid to challenge my calculations, works like crazy without complaining, and somehow manages to slow me down long enough to remember I'm still human.
