I know it’s exhausting. It’s unfair.

It’s so exhausting to be plagued by nightmares because of what you’ve been through. It’s so unfair to be forced to relive the terrible memories over and over again.

You are so strong. I know that doesn’t take away your pain, but you’ve survived every moment and that’s something to be proud of.

I can’t tell you when it’ll end. I can’t tell you why it all happened. I can’t tell you that it’s okay when it’s clearly not.

What I can tell you is this:

I can tell you that you’re not alone. I can tell you you’re valid. I can tell you that even if you’re not okay now, you will be.

And I can tell you that I’m proud of you.

Your mind won't stop running and all you can think of is the feeling of that blade running on your skin tracing poetic bloody trails. When your whole body is pulsating, like your blood is screaming to be let out. Like you can't focus on anything else and without looking your hand reaches for your blade. You know you shouldn't, but who's going to know, right? Right?

No, they will know. You put it back, trying to resist the urge, you reach out to a friend, you listen to music, you scroll through the entire internet, but the thoughts are still there, in the back. Remember alters names/ages/pronouns/roles/identity when pretending to be them

Remebering traits (ie. Accents, typing quirks, hobbies, music preferences, interests, style, common phrases, handwriting, likes dislikes) literally anything and everything youve ever mentioned to anyone ever when "pretending" to be an alter

You would have to create a whole person and successfully act like them time and time again

Fabricate stories about them, things they've said/done

Go through the effort of explaining this to people

Basically you'd have to fabricate people AND then act every still day every switch even under pressure even while you're tired.
