Honestly, I've always kinda thought that as soon as it becomes obvious shes aging and they work out how quickly and such, that Nikola reinvents his 'de-vamper' to use when the time is right. What's the point of continuing to live without her?

This is going on a tangent but this reminded me of the Greg and Gina twin idea and it'd be cute if their son was more like Helen and their daughter was more like Nikola lmao Back on topic, I feel like if they were old enough they'd leave the decision up to Nikola. If he wants to de-vamp himself that's okay, they'll accept that, but if he doesn't they're okay with that too. But Helen would probably ask him in private to stick around for them because it'd be hard to lose both parents at once and she doesn't want to hurt them
