Kid just got back from 10 days with grandma and grandpa, and she had a blast. I’m glad my in-laws are good people so she can have these kinds of forever memories from her childhood.

They boated, kayaked, ate so much ice cream and candy, swam almost every day, saw the fireworks, went to the shipwreck museum, and best of all Grandma helped her level up her crochet skills.

Also my husband and I got some great time together, went to a concert, went to trivia with friends, got stoned and had tons of sex, and just generally had a great time.

A+ couple of weeks for us all.

It was a beautiful day for a soccer tournament. One game Friday, two today, one tomorrow. Next week is the last of the season — then we get a break til late August.

I’ve kept up on this whole “bike to work” thing but now my lower back and hips and knees ache at all times. So it’s like… exercise and fresh air, but at what cost.
