Ever since God knows when, I am haggling between buying an iPhone 4S, or an iTouch. I’ve been saving up ever since, and up to now I don’t know what to get for myself. Being my “research before you buy” self, and my “kuripot” self, I came across a lot of things before coming up with a firm decision what to buy.
I am going for the iTouch!
Not only because I am kuripot, but I guess I already have my Blackberry and I love it to bits. Also, getting an iPhone will cost me too much! Knowing that I am the most kuripot person ever, I won’t spend 1799/month for a line in Globe, (knowing that Globe sucks in UST) just to have an iPhone. I know the iPhone is nice, but all I need to have are the apps + music + games. Having an iPhone sure sounds legit, but I guess I have to settle for the more practical one since I already have a phone, and it is still working.
iTouch 32GB - 12,000 flat iPhone 32GB - 33,300 (plus load and internet services)
Practical is better! :) So, yes, I have made up my mind. I hope everyone who’s having the same problem as me will think twice.
MTE!!!!
I guess today is pamper day for me. I haven't been feeling pretty well since I had 3 shots of vaccine yesterday. Two of those were taken to accomplish my med form for college and one is the flu vaccine that my mom insisted that I have right now. My tita/doctor said that it takes three months to take affect so I need to take it now for college. So yea, basically both my arms feel super heavy and my lower back hurts since the third shot was done at that part. And it really hurts as hell. :(
Anyway, I felt really dizzy the whole day so I just watched The Voice Season 2 and some make-up tutorials. I actually watched the wedding series of Judy of itsjudystime and Benji of benjimantv the whol afternoon. May I say that this couple looks so adorable together! I actually cried watching the wedding part video.
I called this day pamper day since I decided to eat the food that I really want (which is available here in our house), rest in bed the whole day and I also decided to use one of the peel off masks that I found in one of my drawers! Plus I also did my nails as you can see in the picture above. I'm really happy how I did my nails pretty neat this time. And it didn't smudge or whatsoever! I'm so happy~~ Yay!
Call me maybe~
I REGRET NOTHING AT ALL~~~WOOOT
This is me all hyped up, alone and crazy.
Just had my haircut about an hour ago. I was planning to have my hair permed or relaxed but I guess I was too scared to have my hair treated for the first time. So I just opted into having a haircut instead. My haircut actually reminds me of my hair back in summer 2010.
I can't wait to have my hair colored next~~
Easter Sunday blog in bullets
Mass
Saw these two kids wearing Barney colored clothes. My sister and I can't help but laugh at the end of the mass. They look so adorable!
Dinner at Bellevue! Prom memories with the lobby~~
It was a buffet meal so I decided to have 4 rounds of dessert. Yummy food!
Holy Week 2012: Visita Iglesia & Black Saturday
I've been having a movie marathon all day long but this I need to blog about. I'm amazed by this movie, moved by the music, compositions and songs performed here.
I just can't explain how lovely the feeling is listening to the compositions in this movie especially the last one! It's magical. Plus the movie has an awesome cast!! You have to love Freddie Highmore and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. I just love the idea of the whole story. A family finding itself back together through music. It's just lovely!
This is just my opinion. Maybe I'm just deeply touched by the story? Oh well.
I apologize for the late post but here it is.
Last week, my sister treated me to a show called Fuerza Bruta. People say that if you like Cirque du Solei then you'd like this one. It was their last show in Manila and I'm glad that we got the chance to watch it. It's a very interactive show. The lights itself gives you the feeling that you're in a magical dream. Plus, the cast is very accommodating and friendly to the audience especially the last part where they danced with us while we were being sprayed with water from above!
The pictures are just some of the screencaps I took from the videos I shot during the show. I just want to repeat the whole experience just to capture the show in pictures too.
(Might make a video of the clips I took from the show.)
If Fuerza Bruta is coming to your country/town to have a show, you must, must watch it. It's worth the pay!
The 30th
Lunch at Tokyo Tokyo! I have always loved Japanese food even though they are quite pricey for a student's budget. Yum!
Dropped by North Gate to wait for my sister because we decided to go home together after she is finished with her work. The building lights were so pretty and I liked the weather earlier.
Thank God for Booksale. Purchased these two books for only 135 pesos! Actually, I have already finished reading the book on the left side of the photo above. I was too engrossed in the story ( It's a mystery story, btw.) . It was a good read!
Since the night that I've finished reading "The Fault In Our Stars" (John Green), I've been hooked into reading books again. I know I could just download e-books instead but I prefer reading with real books than with e-books.
Today was a pretty good day for me too since someone from ADMU called me and told me that my status of being waitlisted is changed to accepted!! Yaaaay!
Thank you, Lord for today and every single day you give me <3
All Science.
Just thought I'll blog about today since my day was pretty interesting..and tiring.
Since I'm an incoming freshmen in college, I need to arrange some papers a.k.a the requirements needed for the university. (I haven't decided yet about the school issue but I'm really hoping that Ateneol will reconsider me to be admitted to their university. I really hope they do!) And for UP, they required the students to take a medical examination and that's what I did for the entire today.
I was just supposed to have a medical examination like the basic tests but then my mom had some concerns that resulted to me taking more tests than I expected. Originally, I just needed the medical certificate, the doctor's signature on the form UP gave me and a Chest X-ray but what I end up taking are the following:
2 urine tests (I drank a lot of water, I tell you.)
CBC (wherein I need to fill 4 test tubes with my blood for 4 different tests I cannot simply understand and remember)
Ultrasound (don't get me wrong, this is for the kidney okay.)
Chest X-ray
ECG and 2D Echo s/t (the doctor noticed an unusual rhythm in the way my heart beats and I have a history of my heart beat skipping on beat(?) when I had dengue so my mom requested for some tests.)
So basically, I spent my whole afternoon in the clinic. And to think that when I got there I just ate a plate of pasta and some palabok and that's it. My energy was obviously drained.
It was pretty interesting tho since I never did an ultrasound, an ECG and a 2D echo s/t ever in my life and the machines where pretty cool too. I just wish every thing is alright and I'm still a pretty healthy person ;)
PS: Will be blogging about Fuerza Bruta when I finished screencapping every video that I took. :)
2NE1's CL (Scream) inspired make-up
This the the picture that I used as basis for the make-up I did.
(hello kitty coin bank cameo!)
I actually focused more on the eye make-up. Actually..I've been watching make-up tutorials all morning and I had to urge to do one. Well this is not a tutorial but yea. Haha. This is so awkward to do but yeap. Opinions anyone?
It was raining and a lot of thoughts have been going through my mind so I decided to draw and paint. I'm not the greatest artist. I can draw but I guess I need more lessons. I really want to learn how to paint and draw properly.
The rain is just scary a while ago especially when I can still hear the thunder earlier. Hope everybody's okay with this kind of weather. Stay safe everyone!
Make-up Thursdays? haha.
Lately I've been fond of watching make-up tutorials from different make-up artists. I guess I just find it amusing how a person can change with a little foundation and eyeshadow. But that doesn't mean that wearing make-up makes one beautiful at an instant. The only thing that matters is how beautiful our heart is :) That is when we look beautiful inside and out.
Graduation Dinner @ Makati
Before we even have our dinner, Dad surprised me with his unexpected graduation gift. It's a new phone! Thank you Pa for giving me a phone that can already access wifi. My sister got one too. Dad said it was his late high school graduation gift to her and late means after 5-6 years. Haha.
We had our dinner in Yakimix. It was my first time ever and I guess I shouldn't have eaten before dinner. Half-way through the dinner, I felt like I was going to vomit because of all the food I've eaten but their food tastes really~~ good.
And what I wore for the night:
white top (Mom's closet), skirt (Magarbo) and white heels (Rusty Lopez)
*All photos are SOOC.
For the last time, Congratulations Batch '12!
(Mom took most of the videos)
