Helios was a creature who had been in captivity for a long time. By his own wish to be, certainly, but it did mean that he had gotten a little... Lax in some areas.  Like, for example, napping in areas where other creatures could sneak up on him. The bite didn’t hurt: his body was far too armoured even there for such a tentative nip to pierce him, but it made him jump. Badly. He scrambled upright - wings spread and fire in his throat.

Hmm. Well wasn’t that interesting. Helios had never met a dragon shaped like a human before.

“Z-ARC... Why did you come here? Surely not to just compliment me?”

The possibility that this creature might have been a fan had crossed Helios’ mind, but if that was true, then surely they would have gone straight to Spectra. And besides, he couldn’t imagine this dragon would be interested in something as petty as tournament rankings.
