Summer in Madrid ✨

Hey there 😙 how’s everyone doing?

I finally finished my Master’s Degree 🤪🤪. I defended my dissertation on July 7th and got a 9/10 👏🏻 (not to brag but kinda 😌).

Starting a part-time job at a clothing store tomorrow (gotta save up a bit so I can go on holiday with my friends after 🧳☀️). Went to get some clothes for the uniform today and that’s about it. Little reset moment. 🖤

I went to the public library this morning to continue writing my master’s thesis and I’m glad since I was inspired and wrote some pages lol… After lunch I went to the gym and it was so hot in there so now I feel kinda dizzy 😵‍💫☠️

So, I decided to take an online GCP course today. I’m doing it because I want to add some fancy tech skills to my CV, and pharmaceutical companies seem to really value them. It’s not exactly a thrilling subject, but it’s not too bad either! It’s all about administrative and bureaucratic stuff, which can be quite dry 🤦🏼🤦🏼 but I guess it is what it is!!

So, I recently started working on my master’s thesis, and I found that I couldn’t concentrate on it at home. I decided to head to the public library instead. Now, I know I’ve been using ChatGPT, but I’m using it to help me structure my thesis and correct the text. I don’t want it to write the whole thing for me, ISTG 😭😭. I’d feel guilty like cheating, and I’m not having any of that 💋💋💋

Yesterday I went with a friend to have some pancakes in the afternoon and we went to a Christmas market in Madrid 😭. The vibes were so cozy omg and look at the ornaments they were selling there

They had literally anything you can imagine related to Christmas 😍😍

They had a functioning train but it costs around 1,000 € wtf 💀

13th of November

Today has been a really unproductive day 💀. I felt tired all day cause yesterday I worked out like crazy at the gym. I'm gonna do some tests for my driving license's exam, but it's so hard to concentrate since I don't feel the same pressure as I do for a uni exam 😭. Plus, I wanted to go to the city today but it was cold and windy so I decided to go for a walk around my house and stay at home like the lazy person I am 💋. How are you doing?!

9th of November

Two days ago I was fired from my part-time job LMAO 💀 so I decided to enjoy a little my freedom and went to Madrid for a walk in the city. I ended up going to an Amïsh market (I didn't even know that there was one in Madrid) and bought two plants (mental health). Thankfully, I'm not that affected by being fired because I start an internship in January in an, apparently, great laboratory so I'm eager to start it.

BTW, Madrid looks beautiful lately, and it seems that the tourists season is coming since the city center was crowded af. I hope y'all are well xx
