i spent the weekend visiting a friend in budapest and it was so lovely

on the way there, i studied on the train. train study sessions are the best, i don't know what it is about them...

over the next two days, i went to my favorite bookstore/café twice (filled up my stamp card and got a coffee for free!), got a book that i definitely don't have space for on my shelves, went to a jazz punk concert, read Toni Morrison's Beloved and overall had a really nice little vacation

goodbye summer… but honestly, good riddance. it was too stressful and too hot and i didn’t even get to go to the beach more than once. i literally live on the coast! 5/10 summer.

i’m moving apartments finally, someplace with fewer roommates, a better layout, a worse location, but closer to my job. also more expensive. but the whole different/fewer roommates aspect is worth every penny. i’ll also be closer to the practice space both of the bands i’ve been playing with use, so way better commute for late night rehearsals. on to better things, hm?
