I see your points about Ursa and how she loved Zuko and Azula. It's okay if she had a favorite and got along better with one BUT she still should have made sure both of them felt loved by her which she failed to do. A reunion would be interesting bc she probably expects Azula to be happy to see her like Zuko was, but Azula will either be angry or pretend she doesn't care about her at first (leaning more towards the this one.) It'd be nice to see Ursa prove her love for Azula for once.

True. I think if we did get a 4th season though, Ursa would’ve been written to actually care about Azula… and I mean by like if her story was written the same way in The Search, then after she gets her memories and face back then she’d probably run after Azula in the forest after remembering the state Azula was in. Ya know… instead of how she just talked to Zuko the whole time in the comics… showing no ounce of concern for her daughter at all… and then in S&S and we get like this short scene of Ursa crying about Azula’s wellbeing and all… but then that’s it. After that, we don’t hear her mention her at all… no instead she’s just rlly worried about Kiyi hating her that she actually even asks Iroh for advice about it, but never again mentioning Azula…. like ???

Which is why I think the comics really are a bad source material for Ursa but eh we got nothing else. Unfortunately the comics just make Ursa seem very superficial with her children…

On the other hand, sometimes I do sympathize with Ursa. She was forcibly married off to an abusive and egoistical man at the age of 21, didn’t have any guidance from her parents, was Isolated from her whole family and friends since then, had children at an early age when she didn’t want to yet and didn’t have her parents to guide her on the responsibilities of being a parent. I mean… really. Just imagine being that young, locked in an abusive marriage, having a sociopathic father-in law who happens to be the Fire Lord as well, and you have 0 knowledge on how to raise children because you can’t ask your parents for advice and you were only a single child.

She really did a poor job as a mother though with 2 children, although I think it would’ve been a lot better if she actually had a supportive husband to balance out the love instead of a abusive prick like Ozai.
