Hey hun! We’ve been thinking of bringing rare pairs week back in 2021 if there are people who want to participate. I took a long break from this site but I’ve come back recently, and I’m hoping to have the time to moderate one next year as this year has been a bit too hectic. Let me know if anyone is interested!

Hello! Sorry for the (very very very very very) late reply! This year has been a little bit difficult and hasn’t left me with very much time to organize it. If there’s any interest still lingering, though, I’d love to hold the event again sometime in early 2019!

Are you running the Rare Pair Week this year? I only recently found out about this event and would definitely like to join in this time round!

We would love to! Unfortunately we don’t have a date yet this year and I’m waiting on a surgery date to decide on one (can’t be worrying about that during recovery!) so it’ll be a few months before we have it, but it’ll happen!

He couldn’t do that—not from his both metaphorical and physical throne: they expected him to rule, not to show his weaknesses. Why had he saved her to begin with? Wasn’t she just another one of those many unfortunate souls? Maybe it was her eyes—it was always the eyes. He didn’t even know how all of this had started, but now she was here, again, helpless in his hands. Soon it all finished, and as usual the harpy woman cried. He envied her tears. A/N: - Doflamingo’s point of view; - the “harpy woman” is Monet, of course; - this isn’t the same scene described in the main story (Monet was still a normal human there); - no mature content warning since here it’s just implied (and quite open to interpretation too, if considering this spin-off alone and not the main story too).

Spin-off vignette drabble based on the story of the same name I posted one week ago, and my last contribution for the One Piece Rare Pairs event. This is for the last day, which had a free theme. I had planned to make a DraDof fanart actually, but I’m currently busy with commissions so I decided to postpone it (again… I started it this summer but I wasn’t happy with the composition  ^^’  ).

Part 1

Robin carefully picked her way through the castle’s dining room

“I’m going to depress those little monsters into cleaning up after themselves.” Perona, floating beside her, had been making this same threat for nearly twenty years and it hadn’t worked yet. “Those rugrats will learn to clean up after they’re done one day.”

“Probably not anytime soon,” Robin said, “probably not before someone trips and dies.”

“Your jokes aren’t funny, Mum!” Seven years old and An already knows what’s what. Robin couldn’t be more proud.

“The jokes are hilarious. You’re just too lively to appreciate them.” Perona replied, sniffing in that haughty way of hers. “What did you bring us this time?”

“Wool.” Robin told her, holding out the bag for Perona to see. “I found a black and red ball I thought you’d enjoy. There was a sale on purples and neons, too.” The chorus of groans meant the various children hiding in the next room knew exactly what sort of knitted clothing was coming for them. “I’ve got letters, too, from everyone. But the midgets only get books.” Cue more groans and even some fighting.

“You can tell us all about your trip before the kids have to wash up for dinner.” Perona told her, leading the way into the next room.

I originally had two Sadomino pictures for @op-rarepairweek and they were supposed to be for “Role Reversal” (Day 2) but I got slammed with grad school and could only complete one of them for the Day 7 free choice. If I’m lucky in the following days I can squeeze out my other Sadomino picture, and another couple. I am so glad they allowed late entries! 

I am so dreadfully sick of kink and bondage being something we only ever see between male couplings. I am so tired of your Law/Zoro/Sanji/Ace/Marco/Doffy, whatever bondage. We need more positive representations of women enjoying consensual kink.

Part 1

Shopping wasn’t usually an undertaking Perona usually enjoyed, but with Robin…

Robin would let her point out all the cute clothes and then try it on! No one had ever done that before! Perona would only have to hold up an adorable ink blue dress with highlights such pale pink they were almost white and Robin would try it on even if it wasn’t her normal style.

Or Robin would have pointed out something Perona had overlooked.

“This is cool,” Robin would say, pointing at something on display; and it would be the best thing ever. She could find hair ribbons such a deep purple they’d be almost black with a pink thread worked in. And before Perona knows it, Robin would be retying he pigtails saying, “They match the scarf you made me.” Saying things that make people melt inside should be illegal!

Liking shopping with Robin so much was probably not good for Perona’s sanity, but it wasn’t something she could help.

Not that it mattered when Perona was too busy throwing up in the toilet to even leave the room.
