Pre-T, I could mimic my cats’ meows perfectly.

Post-T, my voice dropped approximately a fuck-ton (metric) and I can no longer do that. Lil'y has responded by making her own meows as gravely as possible, so I can meow at her again.

So if there are any other guys or non-binaries out there who are worried that their pets won’t recognize them after they start hormone-therapy or something similar, don’t worry. Your pets will love you. They already know who you are.

10 Week Blog Project - week 10

Genderfluid 

One who is genderfluid can fluctuate between genders. Sometimes they identify as male, sometimes they identify as female, sometimes they identify as neither or both genders. This fluctuation can happen daily, weekly, monthly, etc. 

Common pronouns used by genderfluid people are they, them, and theirs. These pronouns are used because they do not imply any specific gender. However, this does not apply to everyone. Don’t be afraid to ask someone what their preferred pronouns are. Simply making an effort will be greatly appreciated.

Courtney Demone is a trans woman currently undergoing hormone replacement therapy and, as such, is starting to grow breasts.

Given this opportunity, she has a found a brilliant way to #FreeTheNipple.

Demone is launching the hashtag #DoIHaveBoobsNow and will post topless images of herself on Facebook and Instagram, “until those networks decide that my breasts have developed enough to be sexualized and worthy of censorship”

Demone is exposing privilege and hypocrisy all at one.
