[2] DESCRIBE A STARTUP
Describe a Successfull Startup
For this assignment, we would like you to choose a successful regional/local start-up (5 years of operation maximum). - Describe the business (its products and / or services)lay the focus on its target customer group and the value it delivers to it’s customers (customer value). - Characterise the founding team and summarise their carreers and experience – including previous jobs, education and passions. - List five (5) specific reasons why in your opinion this start-up is successful. - Describe how it is successful by presenting relevant data (number of users, market share, revenue, etc.)
[01] Entrepreneurial Interviews
One of the entrepreneurial key activities is reflecting your gained knowledge on everyday life, by this meaning adopting the ‘thinking out of the box’ mentality, leave the building and get to the outside world and start interacting with other people.
Therefore, in this session we ask you to interview about five (5) persons in order to get their opinions on entrepreneurship. You can conduct the interviews with students from your university, friends or family members.
Start asking questions, listen carefully and what is the most important of all: do not interrupt! Use our interview guidelines as a check list in order to ensure that the same information is collected from each interviewee. Feel free to personalize you interviewing style: you do not need to ask each question literally in the given order! Record your interviews or make notes according to their importance. Try to relate the answers to the content of the videos you have seen, especially the frameworks, if possible.
