in honor of pride month, I'm deciding to listen to trans women! this one in particular thinks that expressing a lack of sexual attraction to certain genitals is an "anti-trans dog whistle". He also says about genitals "I am honestly not sure if you can even describe them as different organs...". I actually agree with him that the phrase "genital preference" is stupid and unnecessary and should be done away with, because the term "homosexuality" already covers that. He has different reasons though. He thinks that since humans can have many different sexual preferences, like big or small breasts, strong muscles, skin tone, hair, etc. there is no use singling out what kind of genitals we prefer. Let me help you out here TIM. We aren't talking about genitals; we are talking about people. There is a type of person called a woman, who has a certain type of genitals, and a type of person called a man, who has a certain type of genitals. That's why a sexual orientation towards the very broad category of one sex, being that each sex is 50% of the population is a bit more important to specify than the very granular sexual preference of preferring big muscles, or small breasts. Especially given that when one's sexual orientation is exclusively towards the same sex, it has historically been grounds for arrest, rape, execution, and exile, and still is in many parts of the world, whereas a preference for big muscles, has not. This makes it feel a bit more important to people. He's "done pretending to be ok with" people not wanting to have sex with certain genitals. That's a weird rapey thing to say.........

Pro-choicers really like to call us who don’t want an innocent baby in the womb to die “forced birthers.” Abortion is also a use a force that kills the baby. They try really hard to frame the pro-life position as evil when they are literally the ones in favor of murder. If we’re for “forced birth” then they are for optional murder. I know which position I’d rather take.

also as a survivor of molestation and incest, would you let 6 year old me die in childbirth and force me to carry a child that was made from rape and incest?

if i ever got pregnant and had to give birth, I would die because my body is not big enough plus other health issues. How is it pro life to force a mother to die, just to leave a baby orphaned IF the baby lives.

frankly, I would rather let a woman have an abortion then leave another child in the foster care system also.

i encourage you to do more research on these topics, and form your own opinion. abortions are life saving, and I hope you can at least agree on the fact they should be legal. i apologize if this seems like an attack, as I do not mean it that way. i am just sharing my personal experiences to show you the other side of this conversation.

I think we can both agree that rape/molestation are absolutely terrible awful things. I am also a victim of both. But that doesn't mean killing a human being is the answer.

And before you say "A fetus is just a clump of cells!" or "It's a parasite!" I am going to say: it is a clump of cells. but so are WE. Everything is made of cells at different stages of life. It may not be as advanced or grown yet, but that doesn't mean it isn't a person.

A parasite is an organism that is not the same species as the host. Newsflash: A baby is the same species as the adult human that is carrying them. So to say that because the child depends on the mother and cannot survive without help it isn't a human being with rights of their own? its sick.

I'm not saying I don't care about the life of the mother, far from it actually. What I am saying is that I value the life of both the mother and the baby, there are ways for both to survive, and resources the mother can use if the reason she wants an abortion is the inability to sustain themself and the child.

And if your body cannot handle carrying a child or you don't have the resources to raise one, DONT have sex. The simplest and most fool proof form of birth control is to just not do it. If it's a risk to both you and another life the best thing to do is avoid it.

I have formed my own opinion. I thought long and hard about the matter. Have you ever seen what they do to aborted babies that are further along? You should. It makes me absolutely sick that someone would do that to a baby.

I saw a post recently that said "We should abolish the death penalty! Serial rapists and child predators and murderers have rights too!" if we do that, then wouldn't we need to abolish abortion too? that's killing a human life. In fact, its killing a human who hasn't done anything other than simply exist :)

I cant force anyone to not have abortions. I cant force people to change their minds. and I'm okay with that. We can all exist with our different opinions. What I am not okay with is being attacked and berated and called names because I think something different. (not saying you did this anon, I'm thinking of some of my mutuals because I KNOW that when I hit post on this I'll get some backlash. and I am, quite frankly, not excited for it. So I'm going to say right now, Mutuals, if we cant have a civil conversation about the topic then go ahead and block me right now. Love you guys :3

okay even if we all pretend that trans women are women, they still aren’t female. so maybe in addition to your “woman” themed meetup where you gather together based on your common “woman gender identity” with no regard to sex, you can also have a FEMALE meetup where you gather together on the basis of being female, with no regard to gender identity. to me those sound like perfect inverses of each other. a fair compromise to have both. but to these people, one is okay, good, moral, inclusive, but the other is evil, bigoted, immoral, and exclusive. even though they are literally the exact same but just in reverse.

Fetuses are not parasites. It's not sucking off from you without consent. The fetus didn't even consent to being created. How can someone take from you without consent if they didn't even have a say in that arrangement in the first place?

Humans do make anything other than humans. It's not a demon. It's not a parasite. It's not a creature of ill intent.

The fetus is a human and it deserves the right to live. And to suggest otherwise makes you a hypocrite because YOU feel as though you should live without those conditions being contingent on someone or something else. Why is the child's right to life decided by what adults choose to do?

girl stand up. you needing a medically necessary gynecological surgery did not “affirm your gender”. I bet you couldn’t even write a solid paragraph describing your “gender identity” without being contradictory, sexist, relying on stereotypes or circular logic. so what the hell does this medical procedure have to do with men getting surgeries to look like women, and vice versa, and how did having your hymen operated on affirm your gender? you also state that even non-medically necessary procedures are gender affirming.
