SHREK 2 (2004)
“Terf is a slur used to silence us” dang bitch I wish it worked shut the fuck up
Brutus committed to the bit 100%.
Brutus, buddy, this is absolutely hilarious, but I think I understand now why Dante put you in the lowest pit of hell.
This is like if those commemorative "9/11" silver dollars that came out in 2002 had been minted by Osama Bin Laden.

No they're right actually and they should say it.
The lefts descent into obsession with identity politics means all these boys get from these spaces is essentially being told they're inherently monstrous or will grow up to be so.
12 year old boys are not evil. They're children. And they're susceptible to manipulation from these fucks on the right who have sadly correctly identified that large swathes of the left will ignore and shun them. People turn to extremist factions when they feel ignored and dehumanised.
A 12 year old boy online isn't going to be able to read the nuances in your uber ironic but not really actually ironic "all white men are inherently trash" hot takes. They're going to take that at face value because they're 12 and that's what 12 year olds do. And they're going to feel angry, rejected and judged by your words. And then fucks like Andrew Tate get to swoop in and tell them that you're wrong and start the ball rolling on that indoctrination.
If you're an adult leftist and you honestly think teenage boys possess the wherewithal to purposefully follow dangerous Misogynists like Andrew Tate in order to "preserve their own privilege long term" then I'm sorry to say you're too far gone and I'd suggest logging off and actually trying to have a conversation with a kid who is vulnerable to the grooming of these uber misogynists and treat them as a human being instead of a reflection of an identity you've boxed them into.
You may tick more diversity boxes but you are still the adult. Start acting like it.

jane fonda got arrested the third week in a row at climate change protests. this time with ted danson
For everyone complaining about how these two can get arrested and it won’t affect their careers, you’re right. It most likely won’t hurt their careers. That’s why they keep going out and doing it. They’re using their platform to their advantage. They’re both white, of an older generation, and famous enough to be recognized. They’re holding their generation accountable and making an effort to show up and enforce change. This isn’t them advertising a TV show or some bs, they’re there to help
This is a very good way to use your privilege.
Jane Fonda has been involved in protest since the America Vietnam war
Jane Fonda’s activism did, in fact, hurt her career, and she’s out there risking it all again. She wasn’t just involved in protest since the Vietnam war (tho that is what did her career the most damage, some lawmakers were actually calling for her to be tried for treason over it)
She was already under government surveillance before that for her support of the Black Panthers and her show of solidarity with two separate first nations re-occupations (Fort Lawton and Alcatraz).
She’s not being silly or doing a bit or pulling a PR stunt. She’s just not letting the cops scare her. Because this is far from her first rodeo.
Jane Fonda’s mugshot from Nov. 3, 1970.
She was arrested on trumped-up drug smuggling charges, which an officer later admitted was their only way of booking her because god damn Nixon wanted her arrested for her anti-Vietnam War activism. The FBI and the CIA, and the NSA had been surveilling her for months without her knowledge.
If there is any celebrity whose activism is not empty lip service, it’s Jane fucking Fonda.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if I had gone through life with the name Hugh Jass, and this was how a ten-year-old reacted to meeting me, I would probably think he was a nice young man, too.
Is there a reason why menstrual cycles and moon phases are almost the same length or is that total happenstance
Two competing theories, one says directly, the other says indirectly. The direct one is simple, so I’ll just explain the indirect one.
Basically, some anthropologists theorize that men would use the week of the full moon, when it’s at its brightest and illuminates most of the night, for long hunting trips, allowing them to hunt in both day and night time. Since we’ve been hunting well over two million years, that was more than time enough for women’s menstrual cycle to adapt so that they would ovulate while the men were still present and then have their periods while they were gone.
Dear god. please make all superyachts explode tomorrow. amen.
Fave thing about this post is that nobody who’s reblogged it so far has made any comment. we’re all just sharing in the sentiment. peace and love on planet earth
