“No!” Adealis felt tears begin to form in her eyes, but she held them back. “I refuse to believe that. I have never seen any darkness in your heart, and yet you expect me to believe that you could be so easily persuaded? I’m sorry, but it’s not true.”

“I can imagine.” Adelia rolled her eyes before she ran off, returning a few minutes later with a bathrobe. “It’s all I have that would fit you, but it should suffice for the time being.”

The male glanced up from the blossoms in his hand, distracted from the real world to see the pretty girl approaching him. “It really is. I’ve never been somewhere like this before. It’s beautiful.” Hayden let out a chaste laugh, leaning his head back to rest on the tree behind him.
“I have, but it’s been a very long time.” Adelia looked around, grinning and letting out a soft laugh. “I’d almost forgotten how lovely it was.”
“This time and age is amazing. The entirety of the world has been discovered, and they’re exploring the heavens now.” He mostly spoke to himself as he pored over the book he had at hand.
“Remarkable, isn’t it? I never would have imagined anything like this.”
Not being in the town for that long, William hadn’t expected to hear a knock on the door so soon. If anything, it worried him to hear such a sound although he carried hope and wondered if it might be one of his family members finally finding him. Opening up with reservation, he set eyes on the stranger, “Can I help you?”
When the door opened, Adelia offered a soft smile and held out an envelope in her hand. “Hello! Um, I received this letter, but I think it might be yours. Are you William?”

After worrying over the sudden change of scenery, Hayden decided on a mellow distraction, perched under the largest tree to admire nature. It was a certain change from the delicate blossoms of China.
Adelia enjoyed taking walks, mostly because she’d been around the same old scenery for centuries and loved the change. Upon coming across another figure seemingly enjoying the nature as much as she was. “Lovely, isn’t it?” She smiled, approaching the male.

“Oh my goodness-” Adelia’s eyes went wide and she turned away from the man, mouth hanging open in shock. “I uh... I can get you something. Just- Just stay here.”

“Oh, excellent. Thank you.” Adelia smiled softly, placing the makeup down on the counter.

“Alright, thank you.” Adelia replied with a nod of her head and soft smile.

“It looks fine to me, though you might need a little help with that eyeliner… don’t ever be afraid to use too much make-up! If someone calls you trashy because of it, then clearly they’re not the sort of person you want to be hanging around anyways.”
Adelia nodded. “I’m afraid it’s my first time experimenting with this kind of makeup. I’m not very good at it yet.” She smiled, nodding her head once again in appreciation. “Thank you.”
“Does this look like too much makeup? I do not want to look... Oh, what’s the word they use these days... Trashy?”

“So I was heading over to my grandmother’s house, but instead of ending up in Halloweentown, I end up here.” Marnie felt terribly lost, she had tried using her powers to get back home, but this new place had been blocking her magic. “Where is here anyway?”
“I’m not entirely sure where we are, and I’m afraid I can’t offer much of an explanation... I’m sorry.”
