needy — spencer reid
a drabble!
pairings: spencer reid x fem!reader
theme: fluffy suggestive drabble
summary: even dr. spencer reid could be needy sometimes.
content warnings: suggestive!!
The moment she stepped out of the bedroom in a red dress that was, objectively and morally, too short, Spencer Reid’s brain completely shut down. It wasn’t dramatic at first. Just a quiet, stunned inhale. Then another. Then came the slow, unmistakable realization that all his higher cognitive functions had clocked out for the evening.
“Where,” he managed, voice cracking just slightly, “are you going?”
She didn’t even look at him. That was the worst part. She was too busy fastening her earrings in the mirror, calm as anything, like she hadn’t just caused a small-scale emergency in the living room. Three delicate spritzes of perfume followed, one behind each ear, one at her wrist, and Spencer physically slumped back against the couch cushions.
“What do you mean?” she said easily. “I told you this morning, Emily, Pen, and JJ want to go out tonight.”
Spencer blinked. He looked down at himself, rumpled shirt, boxers, books abandoned, askew, and then back at her, glowing and red and unfairly confident. She finally turned and walked over. That was mistake number two. She stopped right in front of him, standing between his knees, the hem of her dress hovering at a height Spencer felt certain violated several unspoken laws of physics. His hands moved before his brain could intervene, resting automatically at her thighs like they belonged there.
“Oh no,” she laughed, immediately catching on. “Don’t you dare.”
“What? I'm just checking,” he said weakly, thumbs brushing upward as if conducting very serious research.
“Spence,” she scolded, swatting his hands away while still smiling, which frankly sent mixed signals. “Emily is literally waiting outside.”
Spencer responded by pressing his face into her stomach with a groan, arms wrapping around her like a man who had lost everything. Her fingers slid instinctively into his curls, scratching lightly at his scalp.
“Take me with you,” he mumbled. “I don’t want anyone else looking at you.”
She laughed again, full and fond, even as his hands very clearly disagreed with the idea of letting her leave. His hands were persistent, slyly sliding under her dress, finding their place on her ass.
“Spencer Reid!”
“I’m serious,” he insisted, lifting his head just enough to look up at her with wide, betrayed, begging eyes.
She kissed his forehead. “You’ll survive.”
“I don’t think I will.”
She tried to step back. He tightened his hold.
“Spencer.”
“Five more minutes.”
“Spencer.”
“Two.”
She sighed, affectionate and resigned, and gently pried herself free. The loss was immediate.
“I’ll be back soon,” she promised, grabbing her clutch and backing toward the door like someone trying not to spook a wild animal. Spencer followed her instantly, abandoning the couch, the books, and all dignity. At the door, he pulled her into a warm and tight hug and kissed her properly this time. It was soft, lingering, the kind that said don’t take too long without actually saying it.
“I promise,” she murmured, smiling against his mouth, “I’ll be quick… in the meantime, you should take care of—”
Her eyes flicked downward meaningfully.
“—yourself,” she finished sweetly.
Spencer made a noise that was not approved by any dictionary. She kissed him once more, quick and teasing, then slipped out the door before he could protest. He watched from the doorway as she climbed into Emily’s car, laughing at something through the open window. The car pulled away. Spencer stood there for a long moment. Smelling her perfume on his skin.
cw: SA mentions. violence. angst. flash thompson is evil. strong language. childhood best friends to lovers trope. the ending is rushed im sorry.
being childhood best friends with peter parker meant you tagged along on all family trips. aunt may adored you, because in her eyes, you were family.
you and peter shared a room in the old rustic cabin they rented every summer. the two of you spent the hot days out by the lake, seeing who could skip their rock the furthest or splashing each other in the murky water that probably wasn’t safe to play in. you took turns sneaking into each other’s bunk beds when it stormed, 12 year old peter humming your favorite song to keep you calm- even though he was scared himself.
uncle ben died when you were both 15 and peter shut down completely. he didn’t leave his room for days, weeks even, and the only thing aunt may knew to do was call you. most of those nights you found peter at his desk, his attention focused outside his window on the city that never sleeps. he only noticed you were there when you touched his shoulder, gently spinning his chair to face you. tears pooled in his eyes and he quickly buried his face into your stomach, hugging you so tightly like he was afraid he’d lose you too.
when your teen years rolled around, not much had changed. the two of you were still joined at the hip. except now, peter was, well- different. he was taller than you now, and stronger. his voice had changed too, it made you feel weird. peter didn’t seem to notice though. he was still excited to show you when he found a vintage comic book, and not afraid at all to touch you or sit a little too close to you. just as he used to. it’s nothing different, you would tell yourself.
senior year, flash thompson was the first boy to take interest in you. he started to sit by you in class, walk with you to lunch and even attempt to nudge his way in between you and peter when you two sat side by side in study hall. you laughed it off, but peter would just scoot closer to you- thigh to thigh and mutter a quick “seat’s taken” over his shoulder. his whole demeanor would change when flash neared in general, but especially when he neared you.
one friday, you were getting ready in your bathroom for a party flash was hosting. of course, you only agreed to go if peter was invited too. peter sat on your bed, elbows on his knees as he watched you maneuver a brush through your curled hair. “i think this is a bad idea,” he said for the third time that night. you glanced at him and scoffed, amusement in your tone as you spoke. “c’mon pete, it could be fun!” you tried cheering him up. when his scowl didn’t fade, you made your way over to him and sat beside him- thigh to thigh. “you promised.” you reminded him. his expression softened and he released a breath you weren’t sure he knew he was holding, and he nodded.
the party was overwhelming to say the least. teens from your school scattered across flash’s obnoxiously large house, spreading alcohol and saliva everywhere you looked. peter stuck out like a sore thumb, shuffling close behind you- careful not to touch anyone else. you started to feel bad about dragging him along with you and felt the sudden need to cheer him up. “hey, why don’t you go grab us some drinks from the kitchen? your choice.” you smiled, touching his wrist. he followed the touch before swallowing anxiously and meeting your eyes again. he bent down so you could hear him, “i don’t think i should leave you alone.” he said, a sudden protectiveness apparent in his tone and demeanor as he scanned the crowd of mainly men.
“i won’t move, pete.” you silently promised, giving him a reassuring look. he stared at you for a few more seconds before nodding and making his way through the thick crowd.
you intended on keeping your promise, but flash thompson had other plans. a few minutes with no sign of peter was when flash showed up. you told him you couldn’t leave, that you were waiting for peter. “parker? pretty sure i just saw him leading a hot blonde upstairs.” flash whispered in your ear, his breath hot on your neck. he was too close. he offered to show you to the room peter had run off to, and you complied. though you knew peter and knew he would never be leading a hot blonde upstairs, you couldn’t help the unfamiliar sinking pit in your stomach asking ‘what if?’
on the other hand, peter was struggling to make his way through a herd of drunk couples while also holding two beers when he suddenly felt off. time around him slowed, and every person around him faded as his eyes searched for you. the hairs on the back of his neck stood up and his body was riddled in goosebumps. something was wrong, but he didn’t know what. his mind was on overdrive but he felt like his legs couldn’t move fast enough as he shoved through the crowd. some people cursed at him, but he didn’t care because you were not where you had promised to be.
he rounded the stairs, taking two at a time as he felt compelled to the top floor- like something in him was leading him there. the second door he burst through, he found you. crying, cowered into a ball on the bed as flash thompson touched and tugged at your clothes. your shirt was nowhere in sight, leaving you only in your bra and pants. peter’s entire body went into autopilot, yanking the boy off of you by the back of his collar and pummeling him into the floor. it felt almost superhuman. you begged him to stop, sobbing as the two of them took turns hitting each other- your stomach sinking every time flash landed one on peter. this continued until two guys you recognized from school yanked peter off of flash, having to psychically restrain him from jumping back on him. when did peter get so strong?
“don’t you ever touch her again or i will fucking kill you!” peter screamed, thrashing around in their grasp before nudging the two guys off of him roughly. a group surrounded flash, kneeling by his side, but peter’s focus was entirely on you now. he yanked his plaid cardigan off, quickly covering your topless torso. he fumbled with the buttons as you scanned his face. a bruise was already forming under his eye and his lip was busted. “oh, pete.” you mumbled, a hand moving to hold his cheek but he met you halfway, lowering your hand as he shook his head. “i’m okay,” he managed a soft smile.
back at your house, you had peter sitting on your bathroom counter and a first aid kit scattered beside him. the sleeves of his cardigan were rolled to your elbows now, but you didn’t want to take it off just yet. his hands twitched from the folded position in his lap. they itched to hold you. but he couldn’t.
you soaked a cotton ball in peroxide, one hand holding peter’s chin as the other dabbed the soft cotton against his lip. he didn’t flinch, or blink and you weren’t sure if he was even breathing. you tossed the bloody ball in the trash and grabbed a fresh one. “i’m sorry- i shouldn’t have went with him..” you blurted out but peter was quick to shut it down. he gently cupped your cheek, forcing you to meet his eyes. your heart flipped, and the cotton ball was suddenly on the floor as your hands shook by your sides.
he pressed his forehead against yours, a shaky sigh falling from his lips. “if anything were to have happened to you,” he started, eyes flickering back to yours. i wouldn’t be able to live with myself. he said without words. his hands hovered over your waist, the heat from them blistering your skin. he was scared. scared to mess everything up. scared that you didn’t feel what he felt.
but you did.
your cold, clammy hands moved to hold peter by his wrists as you slowly guided his hands to touch you. he didn’t break eye contact once, adam’s apple bobbing with nerves. your breathing became heavy and trembling, his quickly following suit. neither of you knew what to do next- how to move, how to speak. it was like you were both scared for the moment to end, scared to snap out of it.
“i can’t,” he whispered like it hurt to say, squeezing your hips as your hands fell onto his shoulders. your fingers twirled the hairs that rested at his nape. “i can’t.” he repeated, not moving an inch as your face neared his. you were so close that you felt his breath fanning your lips, your noses knocking.
you suddenly froze. what if it ruins everything? what if he really doesn’t want t- your overthinking was quickly shut down by peter’s lips crashing against yours. both of his large hands held your face, which was the only thing keeping you stable and on your feet. from his position on the counter, he still had to bend down slightly to reach you, foreheads pressed together. he kissed you like he had been starving for years and you were the only thing that could feed him.
you pulled away to catch your breath, but didn’t wander too far away. peter scanned your face for any signs of discomfort, and when he was sure there were none, he moved to tuck your hair behind your ear. “woah,” you mumbled, a smile growing on your face.
peter grinned, “you have no idea how long i’ve needed to do that.”

two red lines.
that was all it took for your entire life to slip out of your grasp and into a whirlwind of uncertainty. you were not someone who did things on a whim, no, every single decision these past two years have been planned on your own accord. it was one of the things that you and spencer had in common, one of the things that brought you together. your desire for a plan, and his hatred of the unknown.
oh, spencer.. what would he think?
you pinched the plastic stick between your fingers as you stared down at it. the lines were still there and as apparent as ever. you held onto a sliver of hope that maybe, just maybe, you had read it wrong. that if you blinked a few times, it would shrink down to only one line.
but it never did.
it wasn’t like you didn’t want a baby with spencer, but now was really really not the time or place. the infection had been rampant and ushering you and the camp out of every place that you called home, you knew it would happen here too, eventually.
how could you possibly raise a child during this?
and now, you stood outside of garcia’s door, slipping the test into your hoodie pocket as you lifted a hand to knock, only to be met with air instead- and a very giddy penelope.
“i knew i smelt plums!” she exclaimed, pulling you in for a tight hug. she inhaled your scent deeply, letting out a content sigh. “seriously, where do you get your perfume? are you ever going to tell me?” she pouted, pulling out of the hug and holding you by the shoulders.
you couldn’t help but snort. the perfume in question, was actually a body oil made for you by spencer himself. like most things- you weren’t even sure how he did it, you had just mentioned to him once in conversation that plums were your favorite fruit. and spencer being spencer, simply could not do the bare minimum like asking the town’s farmer to plant you a few extra. no, he made sure you felt special. because you were, to him.
“oh you know, i got it from the mall.” you teased, prompting an eye roll from garcia. truth is, the mall had been wiped clean by raiders for years now. all that remained was rotted furniture, overgrown plants and the infected, of course. it was like a spawn point for them.
instead of waiting on a snarky remark, you slipped past penelope and into her cozy living room. the fireplace burned a fresh scent of oakwood, the heat wrapping around you like a pair of arms. you instantly thought of spencer, again.
the door clicked shut as you sunk onto her tan loveseat. everything in her house was scavenged and vintage, just like everybody else’s. but penelope always made sure to give it her touch somehow. fresh pink and yellow tulips sat in a vase on the coffee table alongside some near-withered fashion magazines.
the hum of a coffee machine broke you out of your thoughts, penelope’s voice following suit. “so- not that i don’t enjoy your company sugar, but what prompted this sudden visit today?” she called from the kitchen, mugs clanking as you knew she searched for her favorite one. your stomach churned as reality set back in at her words. you were here for a reason.
penelope finally emerged from the kitchen, placing a snowman mug in front of you as she sat next to you on the couch. she held her zebra print mug in both her hands, leaning back against the armrest as she looked at you expectantly. you eyed the coffee, then her, and before you knew it, you felt your walls begin to come crashing down. and before a single tear could even fall, penelope had her arms around you, rubbing slow circles on your back. “oh honey, what is it?” she asked, concern filling her voice. she stayed in the hug until you finally pulled away, but she stayed close, her hand resting on your knee comfortingly.
you wiped your cheeks, your sleeves now tear stained. you opened your mouth to speak, but nothing came out. you’ve never had to do this before, you’ve never planned this before. at a loss, you slowly pulled the stick from your pocket and sat it on the table in front of you two. penelope watched your every move, her mouth falling agape. “no-“ she said, glancing over at you then back at the test in disbelief.
you just nodded, more tears falling. penelope gasped suddenly, a hand over her mouth. “oh no! honey, i didn’t mean no in a bad way- i was just shocked. please don’t cry!” she hurriedly explained, her hands wiping frantically at your cheeks. you giggled as she wiggled your face around unintentionally, which made her giggle too. “have you told pretty boy?” she said, her tone switching to serious as she moved to hold your hand.
you shook your head, staring down at your interlocked hands. “he’s been out all day with morgan on patrol,” you explained. “when he comes home, he’s always so tired. i don’t want to add to that, pen. i can’t be the reason he stresses.”
penelope scoffed, “sugar, that boy is always stressed. he is a walking nervous system. and this is not something you caused, hun, it takes two to tango.” she smirked with an added wink. you couldn’t help but crack a smile. “listen, all i know is that spencer loves you. whatever horrendous reaction you’re expecting him to have, make it the complete opposite.” she said, giving your hand a squeeze.
before you could respond, the front door swung open and two new voices emerged. “that was genuinely disgusting, and i can’t believe that you didn’t wash your hands.” spencer’s familiar voice said. penelope quickly snatched the test from the table and slipped it back into your jacket pocket. she gave your knee a squeeze, mouthing a few words of encouragement before hopping off the couch.
“hello boys,” she hummed, ushering them further into the house but not before making them remove their shoes and coats. the three of them emerged from the foyer, spencer’s eyes immediately locking on yours. his cheeks burned, and not just from the heat of the fireplace. penelope’s gaze flickered between the two of you before her hands smacked down onto morgan’s shoulders, igniting a groan from him. “sweet cheeks, i need your help on.. computer things!” she said, pushing his much, much larger frame towards the staircase.
morgan’s brows furrowed, “you literally used to be a hacker for over a decade, how could you possibly need my help-“ he was cut off by a shove from penelope. he mumbled under his breath before trudging up the stairs. she shot you a double thumbs up before following behind him- leaving spencer, you, and the secret in your pocket in deafening silence.
spencer slowly rounded the couch, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “i didn’t know you’d be here, sweetheart.” he said, taking a seat next to you. your thighs touched, and you tried to focus on that and not the nausea building in your stomach. he rubbed his hands together in attempt to build up some warmth until they eventually found your untouched mug on the table. he stole a sip, maybe two, before realization hit him. “you haven’t touched your coffee,” he stated, but it was more so spoke as a question.
another thing you and spencer shared, was your love for coffee. him more than you, but you two still had a cup together almost every morning. he made it for you every time, just the way you liked it.
you managed a smile. “it was too hot,” you lied. spencer read right through you despite not commenting on it, he knew you liked your coffee best when it was just done. spencer took another sip before sitting the mug down, his hand sliding over your knee as he leaned back, his eyes on you. “how was patrol?” you asked, avoiding his gaze and instead playing with his fingers that rested on your knee. you knew it was wrong to beat around the bush and that it was just going to become increasingly harder to spill the longer you waited, but it was like you physically couldn’t bring yourself to say it.
like if you said it, it would make it real.
“what’s the matter?” he ignored your question, leaning forward- elbows on his knees, trying to steal your attention. he pressed the back of his hand to your cheek, then your forehead. “do you feel okay? you’re burning up. let me go ask pen if she has a thermomete-“ he stood, but you grabbed his hand. that made him stop in his tracks and drop back onto the couch.
you finally looked at him. concern was evident on his face, his brows were drawn together and his big brown puppy eyes searched your face, waiting for you to talk. “what is it?” he asked again, his voice so gentle and warm.
though you tried to hold them back, the hormones were already getting to you and tears began to trickle down your cheeks before you fell into a full blown sob. “i’m pregnant,” the words rambled out into a jumbled mess. “a-and i’m sorry because i know you’re already so stressed-“ another sob. spencer was quick to react, he engulfed you in his arms with you pressed flush against his chest.
you felt him let out a deep sigh. “thank god,” he said in relief. “i thought you were going to break up with me.” he pulled back, placing a hand over his chest and taking a few- very dramatic, deep breathes.
you fought back a giggle, a smile creeping on your face instead. spencer smiled, too. “a baby with your smile,” he tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. “if anything, i’m lucky not stressed.” he clarified, holding your gaze to ensure how serious he was. his attention then turned to your stomach and he literally dropped to his knees in front of you. “may i?” he asked, his fingers already fiddling with the hem of your sweater. you nodded, and he lifted it up and pressed a soft kiss right above your navel.
“spencer, there’s not even a bump yet.” you giggled at his actions despite finding them so cute. he shook his head, glancing up at you as he littered your stomach all over in kisses. “doesn’t matter,” he mumbled. he suddenly jerked back, your sweater still lifted as his head tilted slightly. “wait, when did we not use..” he trailed off, but you knew what he was asking.
you raised a brow at him. “your birthday.”

kisses — spencer reid
pairing: spencer reid x fem!reader ( no use of y/n ) content warnings: kissing ? a/n: hiii ! i hope you like this <3
“Oof.” You barely managed to brace yourself before Spencer buried his face into the crook of your neck, arms locking around your waist. His messenger bag thumped awkwardly against your hip, but he didn’t seem to care.
“Hello to you too,” you laughed, the sound muffled against his messy curls as you struggled to kick the door shut behind him. His grip was relentless, refusing to let you put even an inch of space between you.
“Missed you so much,” he mumbled. You grinned, running a hand through his hair. “Spence, it was paperwork day. You saw me less than nine hours ago.”
He pulled back just enough to pout at you, his big brown eyes unfairly pleading. “Mmm. Nine hours too long.”
You rolled your eyes, but before you could tease him further, he was already tugging you back against him, his fingers splaying possessively over your hips. You helped him shrug off his jacket, then reached for his satchel, tossing it onto the nearby counter.
“How was work?” you asked, smoothing down his rumpled shirt.
“Fine,” he answered absently, but then his hands were framing your face, tilting your chin up as he leaned in, pressing a slow kiss to your lips.
“Seriously,” he murmured between kisses, “I—” another peck “—missed—” another “—you—” and another “—so much.”
You couldn’t help but giggle as he scattered a dozen more quick, featherlight kisses across your mouth, your cheeks, the tip of your nose, each one punctuated by the faintest hint of coffee on his breath. “Spence,” you mumbled, catching his face between your palms to still him. “I told you not to have coffee this late.”
He grinned, unrepentant, before stealing another kiss. “You should know by now,” he whispered, squeezing your cheeks gently between his hands, “that I will never stop doing that.”
Spencer didn’t let up, lips chasing yours in quick, relentless pecks as you stumbled backward, laughing, until the back of your knees hit the couch. You fell onto the cushions, and he followed without hesitation, his body half-draped over yours. Only then did he finally slow down. His hands cradled your face as he shifted above you, his weight pressing you gently into the couch.
“Ouch,” you mumbled, pushing at his chest lightly.
He pulled back immediately, brows knitting together. “You okay?” His voice was distracted, like his brain was still half-lost in the haze of kissing you.
You rubbed the spot where the frames had pressed into your skin, giving him a look. “Please take your glasses off.”
“Sorry,” he murmured, though the sheepish grin tugging at his lips ruined the apology. He tried to sneak in another kiss while fumbling to remove them. The glasses slipped awkwardly, catching in his curls before he huffed in frustration, sitting back on his knees. You giggled when he struggled to unhook the thin wire frames from behind his ears.
“Stop laughing at me,” he grumbled, but there was no real irritation in it, just that adorable, scrunched-up pout you loved.
Finally freeing himself from them, he hovered over you, lips still brushing yours in distracted little kisses while his free hand, the one not tangled in your hair, held his glasses. You could practically feel the gears turning in his head: Can he make the throw to the coffee table? Will they survive the landing?
The answer was clearly no, because instead of tossing them, he just kept kissing you, his body shifting as he stretched toward the coffee table, still just out of reach. The movement dragged you with him, inch by inch, until you were dangerously close to sliding right off the couch.
“Spence,” you finally gasped, breaking the kiss just enough to speak.
“Hm?” He chased your lips again, catching you in another lazy peck like he hadn’t even registered the warning.
You huffed a laugh against his mouth. “Just get off me and put them on the table.”
For a second, he looked genuinely torn, kissing you versus obeying basic physics, before sighing dramatically and rolling onto his knees. With another exaggerated sigh, he set his glasses down. Then he was on you again before you could tease him, his hands cradling your face. “Happy?” he murmured against your jaw.
You rolled your eyes but curled into him anyway. “Ecstatic.”
mmmm yup this is spencer reid core
i’m your man.
spencer reid was a little shy during sex. his breathing coming out in ragged huffs as he watched you ride him. often times, when the eye contact became too much for him to bare, he’d cover his face with his arms, his hands sinking into his hair. you’d whine as he did so. “spence,” you huffed, pinning his arms above his head by his wrists as you stared at his flushed face once again. “i want to see you.”
his glasses were crooked on his face, barely resting on the tip of his nose. you pressed a chaste kiss to his lips and fixed them for him. you refused to let him take them off during sex, you loved his glasses.
your pace quickened, both of your breathing becoming shallow and fast. “i-it’s too much-” he managed to get out, his focus completely on your hips as his hands now guided them. you didn’t falter, but you made sure to deepen him further in you with each glide. you met his mouth with yours again, a deep groan leaving his as you did so. one thing you loved about spencer was that he was not quiet in bed, often times he was even louder than you were. your mouth left his with a pop, your tongue and lips trailing wet kisses down his neck. “fuck.” he moaned out, bucking his hips up into you. you gasped at the feeling, barely having anytime to react before you were suddenly with your back to the mattress- pinned between spencer’s arms as he took complete control.
his hips snapped against yours, the noise of just that alone making a warmth pool in your stomach. you tucked your heels around his waist, trapping him against you and pushing his thrusts ever so deeper. he pressed his forehead into yours, his curls in your face. “i’m not gonna last much longer,” he whispered, breath hot against your lips. your hands snaked up his back, nails dragging as you did so. your arms settled around his shoulders, fingers pulling at the curls on his nape.
his glasses were fogged up now, cheeks flushed and mouth parted as he moved to focus his attention on your breasts. his tongue swirled around the already hard bud, sucking on it as his hand kneaded at the other. you threw your head back, now you weren’t gonna last much longer. his curls tickled your chest as his head moved, the feeling just causing more chills throughout your whole body. you felt your lower stomach growing more and more impatient with tension. “spence,” you shuddered out, watching as he immediately snapped his attention up to your face. “i want you..” he tilted his head at your words, but you know he knew what you meant.
he moved to hover over your face again, his thrusts slowing as he spoke to you- hands pressed into the mattress on either side of your head. “are you sure? it’s not necessary for me to be satisfied i hope you kn-“ you cut him off with a kiss, your hands cupped his cheeks and he quickly reciprocated with the same action. his thumb brushed over your sweat beaded forehead, tucking your hair behind your ear.
“i want it,” you practically purred out, unable to ignore the feeling in your stomach anymore. you wanted to feel all of him inside you, even the aftermath. “p-please, spencer.” you literally saw his eyes darken as he heard his name- and his hips showed it too. his thrusts picked up, the lewd sound of slapping filling the room. he sat up now, his hand looping under one of your thighs and throwing your ankle on his shoulder. he pulled you closer by your foot, pressing a kiss to the base of it. one hand held your ankle in place as the other pressed his thumb against your lips, pushing into your mouth. you welcomed him, sucking on it like it was your lifeline. he smirked, pulling it from your mouth and licking that same thumb. god, he was so sexy.
he pressed his saliva strung pad to your clit, rubbing quick circles to match his pace. you actually threw your head back, mouth open as you struggled to have enough breath to even moan. spencer’s voice filled in for you, a low groan leaving his lips. “i’m close, baby, real close.” he huffed. all you could do was nod, but you knew that he knew you were right there with him. you watched as his chest began to heave, his body involuntarily reacting to his climax. his brows furrowed and his lips parted and released the prettiest sound you had ever heard. he moaned your name, his finger unintentionally jolting against your clit. the feeling was too much for you now, and you met him halfway. you felt dizzy and your stomach tightened as he snapped his hips against you one last time, and a familiar warmth spilled inside you. you felt like you could scream, but you bit the back of your hand to muffle your moans. “fuck,” he groaned, his face falling into the crook of your neck. he lazily bucked his hips up into you, riding out his climax as he snaked his arms under your waist and held you against the mattress.
minutes later, he gently pulled out and you couldn’t help but gasp at the feeling- which made a cheeky grin form on his face. he watched as he spilled out of you, holding your legs open and staring as if you had the damn mona lisa between your legs. his dick twitched as he watched and you let out an amused scoff. “you are a pervert, spencer reid!” you crossed your arms over your chest and you narrowed your eyes at him.
he chuckled, his index finger swiping against your slit. he slowly slid the cum-slick finger into his mouth, sucking it dry. your mouth fell open at the sight, and you suddenly wondered if you could handle a second round. he pulled his finger from his mouth with a pop, a smirk on his face. “your pervert.” he said.

pretty when you cry
*brief mentions of abuse
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
spencer reid didn’t cry.
well, not since the two of you had been together. in fact, you think you’ve seen every emotion of his except his tears. with such an emotionally intense job, he couldn’t take anything to heart. none of you could. though, you had seen pretty much everyone else- yourself included- in the BAU crack at least once over a case. but not spencer. he worked with his brain, and his brain only.
so you couldn’t quite believe your eyes when you found spencer in the conference room, head in his hands and fresh tears staining his cheeks. you didn’t even know how to react, you were so taken aback. how do you comfort your crying boyfriend who didn’t cry?
“spence?” your small voice called from the entrance of the room. he tilted his head, now leaning on just one hand as he looked over at you. his curls covered his eyes pretty densely, but you could see the sadness in them clear as day. your heart ached and your feet moved before your mind could. you were beside him in an instant, stealing the chair next to his and sliding your hand onto his knee.
he stared at you for a moment before he reached over and clung to you. his face buried into your shoulder and hands balled up the back of your shirt. “she was six,” he mumbled into your hair, tears soaking through your shirt. “she was six and i didn’t fucking get to her in time.” he croaked, squeezing his eyes shut as if he could blink his feelings away.
you knew instantly what he was talking about. a domestic abuse case involving a father and daughter, the abuse had been ongoing for years but was only reported that morning by the little girl herself. when the father caught ear of the fbi snooping around, he took his daughters life and then his own. tensions had been high in the office all day because of the failure to save a life, a child’s life. but it wasn’t spencer’s fault. god, he had to know that.
your hand weaved through his curls, resting on the back of his head as you held him. “it’s not your fault,” you whispered, rubbing circles on his back with your free hand. “you did everything you could do-“
he cut you off by raising his head with a shake. he pushed the curls off of his forehead, but they quickly fell right back down. “but i didn’t, did i? i should’ve known he would react like that. i should’ve known after all these fucking years how their minds work. i should’ve-“ it was your turn to cut him off now. you cupped his cheeks in your hands to stop him from the spastic, anxiety-induced movements. he opened his mouth to speak but closed it again as he searched your eyes, as if he was begging you to bring him some type of peace.
“you can’t know everything spencer.” you said, tone firm yet gentle in attempt to ground him. “in her last few minutes of that phone call and her life, that little girl had hope. hope that she was going to be saved. you gave her that hope, spence. for once in her life, she had a moment of peace because of you.” you felt like you weren’t doing enough, so you dropped your hands from his face and instead picked up one of his. you pressed a kiss to his knuckles before letting your intertwined hands fall into your lap.
spencer was quiet for a moment, just staring at you as tears threatened to fall. his brown, puppy eyes were glossed over and his nose and cheeks were flushed. you hated to think this now, but he was so pretty when he cried.
he suddenly leaned forward and connected your lips, his hand cupping your cheek and fingers snaking around to your nape, pulling you even closer to him. the kiss was sloppy but firm, his tear stained face just making it even more wet and passionate. you had to pull away to catch your breath, your lips disconnecting with a lewd noise. he pressed his forehead into yours, his hands slipping into yours. “you don’t know how much i love you.” he whispered.

ahahah i wrote this at 6am with no sleep so don’t hate me for how short it is😜
spencer being extremely nearsighted is so dear to me <3
closure.
mentions of abduction/kidnapping, ptsd induced panic attacks and violence. slight age gap if you squint [spencer is 27 and reader is 24]
sum: spencer picks up a new case, studies it to his core and sets his heart on finding the victim as he always does. no emotional attachment = no focus lost. unfortunately for him, that’s easier said than done when the victim is a woman from his past who he can’t mark off as just business.
i plan to make this a series so this is part 1/?
─── ⋆⋅ ♰ ⋅⋆ ───
“the victim is a 24 year old female last seen on march 15th. brunette, brown eyes, 5’7 and around 140lbs.” spencer relayed the information to his team, his eyes ahead as he led the group. it wasn’t fresh on his brain, but it was permanently engrained at this point. he had spent countless hours reviewing the case, even losing sleep over it. he found it odd, because it didn’t happen often where a case had such a strong hold on him and his emotions. he had taught himself to put on a mask, not let it affect him, and not to turn any information into feelings. he viewed each case as a task, because it was. so why couldn’t he do that with hers?
“UCLA student, full ride art scholarship. cheerleader, volunteer worker- this is a girl next door we’re dealing with.” he continued. he felt a ping in his chest at the thought of UCLA. he couldn’t understand how a girl like her could end up in a position to be abducted. of course, there was no certain abduction spot, but he couldn’t see her being anywhere that was unsafe. this is what made him feel as if she was taken by someone close, too close- or maybe even known by her.
his team gathered in the conference room around the circular table as he stood upfront, all eyes on him as he began to display the photo evidence handed to him just minutes before. he pinned a picture of a green piece of fabric to the board. “this was found just six miles away from the campus where she resided,” he commented, picking through the manila folder for the next photo. a clump of her hair. the next, a sunflower keychain with a set of keys- including her car key and dorm key. his heart pinged. he shook it off and continued to shuffle through some more, sharing any ounce of information he had on the photos he received.
“and finally,” he started, pulling the last photo out. the one photo he hadn’t seen yet. a photo of her. he froze as he turned it over to face him. a chill ran down his spine and he instantly broke into a cold sweat. there’s no way.. his grip was so tight on the photo, it started to crease around the edge. he didn’t understand why her photo was in here. it had to be the wrong file. her name wasn’t correct, but it was definitely her. he’d recognize her anywhere.
“reid?” morgan called. he stood now, his hands on the back of his chair as he hesitated to move and take over for spencer. everyone had concerned looks on their faces as they watched spencer crumble right before them. he never crumbled. he never failed.
spencer could barely make out morgan’s voice. it was distant- every sound and sight was so far away from him and her photo.
he held onto it as if it was her in his hands.
“we’ll pick back up on this later,” morgan clapped, snapping everyone’s attention back to him as he ushered them out of the room. he closed the door behind the last agent and made his way over to spencer. “spence?” he placed a hand on his shoulder to get his attention. spencer heard him this time, but kept his gaze on the photo in his hand. morgan peered over his shoulder to look at it with him, but he didn’t recognize the woman. “what is it?” he asked, giving his shoulder a squeeze to offer some sort of comfort.
spencer swallowed. his face pale and voice shaking. “this is my ex.”
