I just know Boss will love whatever you have up your sleeve. This will be the best christmas ever! I just know it.”
> “Wuh—? Me? uh—” That was a very good question. “Aw, nothin’ too special. Anything from you would be the best thing ever.” It was an easy answer for Cubot but most likely not very helpful for Orbot. Cubot was being truthful at the very least. “Do you think Boss will like a comb?”
Ahaa. I assumed Boss at least deserved something this year, considering how busy he's been. The least I could honestly do for him. >>He still had to decide what Ivo would like, shopping for that man was the most difficult thing. Such a picky man.>> That's sweet of you to say so, buddy. Though honestly he'd be happy with whatever Cubot got him.>> I actually plan on getting Boss a gift this year! But remember, shhhh. Keep that a secret, okay? I want to surprise him with it. I'll even sign it from the both of us. >>Once Cubot brought up their past holidays, Orbot could not hold back a small laugh.>> Ah yes, I sure do. What about that one where Boss actually wanted a Christmas tree? All those decorations... Shadow felt silly for not having thought of it sooner. It wasn’t as though this desire was normally programmed into them. Even if they were built with the best possible technology at that moment, it would need replacing over time. These parts are what make up their very being. To change it would be much like saying he needed improving on his own skills. "I’m not exactly trained in the field of robotics. So altering the device on my own would be a problem. I’d still need outside help. As for who, there is an Omega that has requested weaponry, but he may find some use in the voice chip. I’m sorry I cannot tell you why, but he needs something that makes it easier for him to speak with organics." Shadow paused as he thought about anyone else in need of gifts. If he could manage, he could at least get something for Orbot and all his help, and Cubot to make it even. There was one other but it may be more of an insult to help than not. "Speaking of voice chips, it sounds like Metal is in need of one too. But I wouldn’t dare try to let anyone but the doctor modify him. Didn’t Cubot also used to have trouble with his chip?"
I'm sure if you stopped by Boss' office and asked for some help, probably with something to trade for it all too... He'd be willing to help if given the right encouragement. He'd help Metal Sonic without any hesitation. Though, it'd be best to leave out who with Omega since, Boss is a bit of a grump when it comes to his past robots that left him, aha. >>There's no denying that Orbot felt some intimidation when it came to Omega. Being the fact that robot probably wouldn't hesitate to wreck him. Though, if Shadow wanted to help his Omega, he saw no problem with it.>> Cubot still to this day has voice chip problems, but it's usually his own doing. I haven't had any problems with mine, because I try my best to take care of it. Voice chips are troublesome little things.

*With much less effort Orbot was having to put in by himself, he simply took two or three boxes from the smaller robot and lifted them in his arms. Really, it’s not like the little roller was built for heavy labor.* Ｄｏｎ＇ｔ ｓｔｒａｉｎ ｙｏｕｒｓｅｌｆ．

Cubot's off doing his own thing and Boss wanted me to speed up the new plan progress. >>He rubbed at the joints on his arms lightly and hovered byeside Metal Sonic.>> Thankfully you're here. One of the few robots here who honestly knows what they're doing. Just put them over in the workshop.

> Oh no. The bot froze in the middle of the painting job they were doing, blinking once or twice at his counterpart. Christmas was coming up— How on earth could he forget about Christmas? He LOVED the holidays! And he didn’t even have anything planned for Orbot.

He could remember all the nice gifts Cubot got for everyone over the years, that stash of stuff helped..>> I'm honestly still looking for presents for everyone. Though, I'm sure you'll like yours! >>Even if he had no idea as of what yet.>> We should do something nice for Boss too, just for the sake of it.
Shadow tried to hide the smile on his face as the sound of the familiar robot echoed through the halls. He had to admit, speaking with the smaller robot had always been pleasant enough. However, his smile quickly faded away as he tried to think over Orbot’s advice. "That may work. The few I have in mind for these gifts may need a new chip, but I am not sure if they would be thrilled by it either. You don’t suppose the doctor might be willing to part with any of these devices with a proper trade?" Shadow replied while watching his wording carefully. Whether he would ‘trade’ or not he was still not sure, but he wouldn’t be foolish enough to tell Orbot otherwise. He didn’t need to be getting the smaller ‘bot into any trouble after all the help he was giving. "Speaking of which, is there anything you might be needing?"
Getting gifts for robots is always difficult, since we always feel self-satisfied with what we're built with. Especially for the bigger models, they have so much already built in and all. >>Even after helping Ivo build many of his robots, it always was tough for Orbot to even think what more to add when assisting. Now for gifts, it'd be the same for that too.>> I'm sure you could figure it out by just looking at the chip they were built with. It's pretty basic to see how to improve a voice chip. Who are you thinking of getting one for anyways?
