🧸Help my family make rent by March 10th🧸
so if you know from following me, grandma has been in and out of the hospital since last thanksgiving and has been staying in me and my mother’s care when she’s discharged and it has been a very difficult time for all of us, especially since i was laid off from my seasonal job (where i got sexually assaulted by one of my managers at. i reported him & virtually no action was taken). in the meantime i have a two day out of the week part time job that i hardly make anything at (i would get more hours if it was available, it’s not) & staying home to monitor and care for my grandmother.
she’s currently been transferred to another city’s hospital awaiting artificial heart surgery (the doctors say she is too weak and (allah forbid) may not survive it if they go through with it too soon) so we are on edge trying to get as much time with her as possible so she doesn’t get lonely & scared. since me and my mom have been switching off days we care for her, that means she has been missing work, & combined with all the costs of traveling to hospital visits, medicine, and necessities she needs to be comfortable, we are not able to make rent this month.
i need to raise $800 this month and getting anywhere close to that would be a huge help and less weight on our shoulders. thank you for taking the time to read this & share, and for keeping my grandma in your prayers or good thoughts 💜
