Sunny Sides Auction Results in No Deaths
Despite an attempt on the life of Lady Thorn of the Blackbriar, no deaths occurred at the recent Sunny Sides Auction, a notable event in itself considering the rash of violence that has been plaguing Orgrimmar. In addition to their usual selection of drugs, herbs, and slaves, the Sunny Sides offered up a selection of unique items, including stolen reticulating samophlange plans, super cooling systems, the debt of Malton Droffers, and a single Sergerei communication crystal, still active. During one of the slave auctions, Lady Thorn was attacked by Zazo of the many faces. He failed to kill the elven lady, and was quickly subdued by the other patrons of the auction. After a bit of harsh questioning, he shouted out “We are Strong” before fleeing the inn and saying “Blackbriar are hollow!”
Brethren of the Sunwell Auction
The Most Reverent Order of the Elucidated Brethren of the Sunwell will be hosting an auction tonight for distinguished guests and well financed ruffians. The auction is being hosted at the Broken Tusk in the Valley of Strength in Orgrimmar. There simply isn’t another bar worthy of hosting it. As per usual, gold will not be accepted for any of the bids. The chosen currency for this week are alchemical catalysts. They are vital for the continuing research of the Elucidated Brethren. The entry fee to attend and bid upon the items presented is a single alchemical catalyst. Items up for auction include the following: Articulating Samophlange plans Alchemical Ingredients Medicinal Herbs Flasks Potions Contracts of Debt and Indentured Service Titles of Land and position. One active Sergerei Communication Crystal Currency exchange will be provided at the Orgrimmar General Store. Gold bars, Silver Bars, True Gold Bars, and True Silver Bars are particularly prized and will get a higher rate of return than printed currency.
The Threat of Peon
Elixir the elf is bad! Elixir the elf is mean! A year’s worth of food. For he or she who claims Elixir’s Spleen!
The May Death Race winners: 1. Tildranas and Helmutt of the Blackbriar Consortium. 2. Luta of the Shadowmoon.
Death Race Ends in Explosions
This months death race was unusually sparse, as the majority of the Cataclysm’s Valkyr were still out on their caravan to the barrens and places beyond. In addition to members of the Burning Blade and Free Peon gangs, some prominent racers included pit fight victors the Sons of the Storm, The Forty Wrenched Wenches, and The Iron Thorn. Haylani of the Stormblades was the first racer to fall off the track at the first bend, crashing down into the streets of Orgrimmar below, followed not long after by Dai Ashen-Eye of the Forty Wrenched Wenches. More fell to their likely deaths when one of the preset mines, this time a NUKULEAR device was set off on the track, thinning out the numbers as the racers started to turn on each other.
Korotok of the Burning Blade activated the fires on his retrofitted Iron Star (Where the fuck did they get that?) and tried to burn the other racers, as the explosives started to fly and the firearms came out. Bones and Thorn of the Blackbriar were off to an early lead, flashing Asheraans eyes with searing light, and driving the strange highborn racer off the track. But Luta of the Shadowmoon was not far behind them. As the racers near the end and braved hazard after hazard (including pot shots by marauding sand worgen, they approached the rocky overhang, and a free peon protest. Wuk-Wuk tried to stall his disguised Kodo, and Luta attempted to weave her bike through the protesters, but many of the other racers just barreled through. The infamous Elixir, who had previously fallen off the track returned to fire a series of explosives at the rocky overhang, bringing them down on racers and protesters alike, causing massive devastation. Korotok of the Burning Blade took this moment to press the final button on his Iron Star, ramming it against Wuk-Wuk’s “vehicle” and detonating it, causing even more devastation. The dust didn’t settle after the collapse of the rocky arch, as explosive after explosive went off between the racers as they barreled towards the finish line, and through a wall of flame. When the dust cleared only three racers rolled through the flames: Luta of the Shadowmoon was badly injured, but her bike was largely intact. Tildranas and Helmutt of the Blackbriar Consortium, with their bike falling apart, and Helmutt unconscious and still on fire. Breaker and Justinias of the Sons of the Storm, only for the frame of her bike to collapse underneath her. In the end, Tildranas managed to pull ever so slightly ahead of Luta and win the first place prize. Wuk-Wuk should he remain alive has been disqualified from further Death Races for riding a non-mechanical vehicle.

Gangs of Orgrimmar: Part Two, The Cliffs of Dust
Skirmishes rage in the streets between the Burning Blade gang and the Free Peon movement, as both sides struggle for dominance all the way from the airship docks to the cleft of shadows. But violence doesn't scare Cataclysm’s Valkyr. Despite the risk of sabotage and random violence, they are hosting their cliff-top Death Race, starting at the northern gate of Azhara, and running all the way down to the south gate of Durotar. The Race is open for all comers, as long as they have a vehicle, and can pay the 100 gold registration fee. The winning racers gain the pot (minus the Valkyr’s cut) as well as the honor and glory that comes from surviving the perilous race. As far as the race itself, there are very few rules. 1. Competitors must stick to the course. 2. Outsiders shall not interfere with the race. 3. The only thing sacred is the race. Previous races have been marred by open murder, widespread sabotage, and reoccurring attacks by Worgen snipers. Will any of the fresh crop of races survive to the finish line?
Death Race Additional Rules
Every team in the death race has to use a ground based mechanical vehicle. Trikes, Death-Wheels, Mechano-Hogs, and Juggernauts are all valid vehicles. If it is a vehicle that can hold multiple people, such as a Mechano-hog, everyone who fits on the vehicle can be on a single team. Drivers and passengers start out with 7 hit points. Vehicles start out with 10 hit points. This will be a combination of /roll and an actual race. Everyone will start in the designated position, and there will be checkpoints marked across orgrimmar with raid flags. When the first person gets to a check point, a stop will be called out through Raid Warning, and all racers should stop immediately, as the horrible consequences at each check point are played out. When there is a second Raid Warning, the race can begin again. Encounters may cause damage, increase difficulties, or cause some racers to be delayed before they can start driving again.
The Peon Manifesto
We are peon. We grow your boars, we build your homes, we clean your streets. We have been yelled at, we have been beaten, we have been awoken. Now is the hour where our fury is awaken. We are peon. We are everywhere. The Burning Blade will break. Don’t expect us.
Pit Fights End in Riots
Fight One! Iron Thorn vs Frostwall Irregulars The Frostwall Irregulars distracted the referee before attempting to build a guard tower right there in the oil pit. Elixer had no patience for their cheating ways, and opened fire with incendiary rounds, burning not only the Peons, but also much of the audience. The peons were quickly cut down, and brutally murdered by the rest of the team to the roar of the crowd. Fight Two! Forty Wrenched Wenches vs Lord Marveloso and Retainers Lord Marveloso entered the pits with his two dogs. The two dogs quickly grabbed Annasyn allowing Marveloso to skewer her quite horribly. Lokala and Dai managed to pull Marveloso down into the oil pit, right as a mysterious human pirate that totally wasn't a guy eating deviate fish opened fire on the noble. The referee got confused at that point, and somehow the Forty Wenches managed to come out on top. Fight Three! The Sons of Storm vs ROLLLLLINNNGG THUNNNDER The Sons of Storm advanced quickly on Rolling Thunder, forcing Rolling Thunder to unleash their secret weapon... a kidnapped Free Peon goblin gagged and bound and covered in explosives in a burlap sack. Fizzle Darkclaw then set the living bomb on fire, detonating much of the oil pit. The many peons in the crowd were furious, calling for the death of the Burning Blade gang, and quickly turning on their fellow audience members. While the Ghost Furies tried to keep the arena calm, the Sons of Storm, though quite thoroughly burnt, managed to finish off not only Fizzle Darkclaw, but his two fleeing minions. The remaining spectators fled the Valley of Spirits to escape the expanding violence.

Gangs of Orgrimmar Part One: The Valley of Spirits
The Ghost Furies are running one of their usual over the top fight nights out of the Valley of Spirits, right in the oil pit where there is the greatest chance of drowning, burning, and the Sunny Sides getting absolutely filthy. The Pit Fights purport to follow the rules of the Mak’Roghan. Three combatants each side, fights are not to the death, but only until the other side is completely unconscious. Yielding is not allowed, neither from the victors, nor the defeated. Sometimes people die. The crowd likes it better that way. The Pit Fights follow a similar ranking to the arenas, with each victory you gain points, with more points the more prestigious gladiators you can challenge. If you fight with great style and win over the audience, you gain more points. If you lose you lose points. That is if you aren’t dead. The crowd likes it better when people die. Entry fee for each team is 100 gold pieces. The winner gets 175 gold, the Ghost Furies take their cut. But that is hardly where the real money is. The real money is in gambling. The amount of money gambled gets so high that sometimes gladiators accept payment to take a fall, even if such a fall might result in their own death. Teams from the Ghost Furies, The Burning Blade, Cataclysm’s Valkyr, The Sunny Sides, and Free Peon will be competing. The guards have already been persuaded to patrol elsewhere.
How /Roll Works for Us
We are using a variation of the Stormblade Clan’s /roll system. Unlike most /Roll system it does not use a simple success or failure mechanic. Instead the two dice rolls are compared to determine the magnitude of success and failure. A 19 vs an opponents 2 is a far better hit than a 19 vs a 17. The GM will be running all of their rolls out of game. Players will use /roll for their rolls. Player hit points start at 10 outside of special circumstances. During combat you can choose to attack, heal, or defend. Healing heals a similar amount of damage to what an attack would deal. Defense can lower the amount of damage taken should you get hit. Players and NPCs can combo their attacks and abilities to increase the chance for an action to be effective. Area of Effect attacks can damage allies on a roll of 15 or higher. Poisons can do damage over time on a roll of 15 or higher. Pets can attack, but are limited to a d10 roll. Traps and the like use set DCs instead. The same roll setup may sometimes be used for social and other encounters. Everybody takes an action each turn, before moving on to the next round where everything happens again.
NPCs Needed: Free Peon
I am going to need people to play NPC members of The Free Peon gang. I’m not looking for high ranking members, but instead low level thugs to go out into the city and get into fights. Expect and be fully willing to have your characters to die, so instead of using an established character, use an alternate profile on a character you already use, or a new alt. The Free Peons are mainly Orcish peons and disgruntled goblins, although angry trolls would not be entirely out of place. Try and go around without a shirt on and look like a manual laborer. If you can wear a red mask or head piece to show your affiliations and hide your identity from the “Big Orc”. I’m looking for the following: Peon Goods Peddler (They fell off a Zepplin) Peon Activist (Down with Clubbings!) Peon Smuggler (How much Felweed do you need?) Goblin Anti-Capitalist Troll Revolutionary who thinks the Revolution Is Not Yet Done. Peons pretending to do work while spying on people. Try and use the Peon speech from Warcraft 1-3 if possible. If playing a goblin or a troll use their speech instead. You aren’t sure who your leader is. If somebody told you at some point, you have now forgotten.
NPCs Needed: The Burning Blade
I am going to need people to play NPC members of The Burning Blade gang. I’m not looking for high ranking members, but instead low level thugs to go out into the city and get into fights. Expect and be fully willing to have your characters to die, so instead of using an established character, use an alternate profile on a character you already use, or a new alt. The Burning Blade should be primarily Orc and Goblin, although other races besides Tauren and Blood Elf should be fine. While fire and red is common, you should avoid wearing red masks and hats as to avoid confusion with free peon. I’m mainly looking for the following: Thugs with clubs with nails in them. Pyromaniacs Shitty Warlocks As far as you know, the leader of your order is Neeru Fireblade. With then his two assistants Fizzle Darkclaw and Yarrog Baneshadow. Your goals are to gain money through drug dealing (shitty knockoffs and demons blood) a well as straight up robbery, protection rackets and intimidation. If you are confronted by law and order, run, or set something on fire in the process to make your escape.
