"Did I not warn you to never cross me again?" {@original-pyromaniac}

âAnd did I not warn you to stop bothering me?!â
Spiteful words, accentuated by sharp vowels and harsh consonants, and Tobias curled his lip, glaring up at the taller man. God he wanted to hit him.
âGet. Out. My. Way. I donât have time to deal with your pointless schmuck, Abe⌠shouldnât you be, hm, âkissing assâ by now?â

His head slamming against the wooden wall of the baseâs main corridor was enough to send Tobiasâ teeth rattling, but he wasnât phased - he had dealt with worse than an ex-president throwing a hissy fit over his glorified air blower. The knife stabbing so close to his face, only just missing his ear, caused him to flinch away at first yet as it prevailed he scowled deeper, dark eyes glaring up at his teammate.
When he was grabbed and yanked upwards he let out a grunt, one of his gloved hands coming up to clutch at Abrahamâs own on his collar.
âAnd I thought you were supposed to be a renowned strategist,â was his scathing reply. âNot a senseless brute!â As he spoke his other hand, hidden by his body, began to creep along the wooden wall until it found the knife still sticking out of it. Perfect.
âPerhaps you should have reconsidered demanding I fix your little firestarter after you set all my latest designs aflame over a little spat!â Revenge was petty but so, so sweet when he saw Abe blow himself up with a flamethrower which wouldnât work on the field. Hidden hand grasped the handle of the knife, slowly wriggling it out of its placehold until it was loose and ready.
âYou need to learn some respect for people other than yourself, my friend.â
With that the knife was dashed upwards, burying into Abeâs right arm and twisting.
Abe was focused on Tobiasâ face and words to notice his hand was creeping up to his knife that was buried in the wood, but he took notice of that knife after it was buried into his right arm- causing the ex-president to cry out in pain. If Abe wasnât seeing red before, he was now. After letting Tobiasâ shirt go, he cocked his left arm back and swung as hard as he could into the Engineerâs cheek. He was going for his nose and mouth, but he was in too much pain and shock to angle his arm right.
âI am a renowned strategist.â he growled through gritted teeth, grasping at his arm, fingers digging in around the blade in an attempted to ease the pain. âBut when push comes to shove, I know how to crack a few skulls.â he can and will find a way to crack the brainless Engineerâs skull. Heh, not like anything will fall out, other than a bunch of hot air.
âRespect?â he repeated. âRespect for people other than myself?!â he spits back at Tobias before lifting a leg and kicking the other man in the guts. âYou have some nerve demanding respect from me! You donât have respect for your fellow engineers- engineers that are twenty times better than you!â pot calling the kettle black, Tobias.
âAnd lets get one thing clear; I didnât demand you fix my flamethrower until now, I asked nicely the first time!â if nicely he means he dumped the flamethrower on Tobiasâ desk on top of his blueprints and said âpleaseâ at the end, then yes it was asking nicely.
âI set your shit on fire because you insulted the man that saved my life!â he reminded the idiot. âheh, ya know, you should thank me for that- those little toys of yours were useless- youâll never be as good as Radigan!â
