Today I feel so sick.

I had some awful jaw pain yesterday, but that's better today. I have this weird muscular thing, with stress and what not that causes me some bad pain in my jaw.

Today that's mostly gone, but now I feel like I am going to throw up. If it's not one thing it's another...

So instead of carrying on my binge of Deadwood while I am sick, I am going to restart Parks and Rec... again. Third time!

Just finished my second complete watch of Parks and Rec. I laughed just as hard and just as often, I teared up all over again and the finale is still damned perfect.

I think this moment, surprisingly early on, sums up why Parks and Rec and Leslie Knope are so great.

They’re so wholesome, and happy, and the message of the show, and from Leslie directly *is* to be good to each other, however you can, and as best as you can.

It’s incredibly and infectiously optimistic and we need that feeling more than ever right now, with the challenges we face to doing the right thing.

The show started as a response to political positivity thanks to things like the Obama administration, and now we need to hold on to what it was that made that time good. We need to remember and be strong. We need to fight for everything that is right and good.

We all need to be Leslie Knope.
