At the very least, if you take someone’s life then you should be held accountable and required to explain yourself in a court of law.

It’s funny how in less than 24 hours after Jordan Neely’s murder, we knew everything about him, but we still do not know his killer’s name.
How do we not know his killer’s name yet??

It’s normal for the police to dredge up dirt on their victims, but this one feels a little bit off to me. I’m not big into conspiracy theories, but I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the man who choked Jordan Neely to death is an undercover police officer, or the son, husband or brother of a cop. Just throwing that out there.
And shame on Mayor Eric Adams for not calling a murderer out for what he very obviously did. It’s disappointing, but not surprising—when white people murder Black people, there are always endless equivocations and calls to “allow the process to take its course.”
All skin folk ain’t kinfolk.
Adams is another ex-cop, pro-police, law and order centrist who defunded NYC’s mental health services while lavishing more tax dollars on the NYPD.
How can anyone possibly argue “self defense” when Jordan Neely never threatened anyone on the train and definitely did not ever threaten the man who casually strangled him to death.
