Yandere! Harpy (Male) x Reader - First Meeting Headcanons
He first met you when youād decided to take a walk through the dense forest late in the afternoon. At first, he thought you were either stupid or suicidal - or both. He was originally going to turn you into a snack, that is, until he decided you looked kinda pretty (for a bumbling human walking through his woods with twigs in your hair and mumbling to yourself to āstay calm⦠the path out is just up ahead, probablyā).Ā
He followed you around, hopping from tree to tree, and occasionally making shrill calls to scare you in a certain direction. You really were an entertaining little thing~Ā
When heād had his fun, he jumped down from the branch he was parched on and landed in front of you. He really wasnāt expecting you to faint⦠getting you back home was going to be a little tricky.
He gently hooked his talons through the back of your shirt. Secretly, he was hoping youād wake up and start panicking. He loved the sound humans made when they were scared.
As he flew, heād occasionally look down at your limp form dangling in his grasp. You really were cuteā¦
When he finally made it to your home, a little house at the edge of the quaint village, he plopped you down on the cobbled path leading to your doorstep. He flew you back home, that was as nice as he was going to be.
ā Ā Ā āĀ Ā Ā āĀ Ā Ā āĀ Ā Ā āĀ Ā Ā ā Ā Ā āĀ Ā Ā āĀ Ā Ā āĀ Ā Ā āĀ Ā Ā ā Ā Ā āĀ Ā Ā āĀ Ā Ā ā It was an impulsive decision, really. A sudden spur-of-the-moment choice. A short āidgafā compulsion. And sure, being lost in the woods is scary. But at least youāre not being chased by a hungry pack of wolves, a pissed-off bear, or a really territorial buck. It could be worse. Worse than not seeing any sign of the path back; worse than running out of snacks and water; worse than realizing itās now really late in the afternoon.Ā
āWhyā¦ā, you think to yourself as you trip over another tree root, āWhy did I have to do this today? Couldnāt I have trekked through the overgrown, dark, and scary forest another time?ā. Suddenly you heard it. A shrill call from somewhere in the canopy above you. āIs something following me?ā, you question as the call sounds again - this time sharper, with more of a ābarkā to it. Turning left, you push yourself to continue on. The trees seemed to melt together in a blur of hardwood, and maybe it's the dehydration/exhaustion talking, but you swear youāve seen that same clump of moss twice now.Ā
Just a little further and then you can rest.Ā
A couple more steps and then youāll see the path out.Ā
All you have to do is make it to the forest edge, and then⦠and then you can probably find your way back homeā¦
