Floral Friday ~ Showy Milkweed {Asclepias speciosa} I had to #google this plant. Considered the largest wild milkweed, with 3" round clusters of showy, pink flowers in summer it grows between 2 to 3 feet. Attracts monarch and other butterflies. Side note: I was told it keeps the rattlesnakes 😳 away so they were planted near the rear door we walk in the most. Not sure if my mother-in-law was teasing me or serious 🧐 Second image: only brought my @zeisscameralenses 50mm w/ me I tried to capture the hummingbird as best I could.
