About 8 years ago I wrote a Joshler fic, in which Tyler's into birds. I don't remember when I myself got interested in birds, but it seems like it happened just before I wrote that fic. It's called In Search of a Dodo Bird, and I'd like to leave a link to it tonight - just in case, somebody's in search of some Joshler read 😀 There, of course, would be mentions of some birds (see the pic ☝️) ‐ Northern Cardinal (Tyler has him as a pet), Green Heron, Robin and Mute Swan. It's quite wordy, ~37k, and it's pretty fun. I really like it

a Common Chiffchaff, everybody - say it out loud - chiffchaff \o/ it's called like that because of the bird's song - chiff-chaff. Isn't that cute? 😊

Jackdaws deceive other birds when hiding food: it lowers the beak into a secluded spot, as if leaving food there, but in fact, the bird keeps it to itself 😉 so the other birds waste time looking for a cache which doesn't exist
