Supermodels Isabeli Fontana, Malgosia Bela and Sui He star in the new campaign for luxury Italian fashion label Roberto Cavalli. With her appearance in the shoot, 23-year-old Sui He is becoming one of Asiaâs biggest fashion names. The Chinese model was the first Asian to open a Ralph Lauren show, and the second Asian woman to walk in a Victoriaâs Secret show when she appeared in the lingerie brandâs 2011 annual extravaganza. With its new global campaign âRise Aboveâ and its new film, Martell XO pays tribute to Martellâs unique heritage, using its emblem, the swift. Legend has it that in 1715, a swift led Jean Martell to Cognac, where, at only 21 years old, he founded what would become the oldest of the great Houses of Cognac. In this campaign, the swift becomes a symbol of oneâs potential to achieve great things. Daimler is taking aim at the youth market with the compact, stylish â and lower priced â Mercedes CLA coupe, unveiled Sunday on the eve of the Detroit auto show. A sleek silhouette delivers world-leading aerodynamics, while frameless doors offset the sporty, muscular look of a bold grill and sweeping curves in the body. The interior offers all the high-tech gadgets and luxurious features customers expect from a Mercedes, like a multimedia console that seamlessly integrates with the iPhone. The powerful engine, smooth suspension and four-wheel drive also promise agility, power and an efficient drive. Buyers apparently snatched up all 12 cars within 2 hours â giving them the chance to be the first owners of the new car. The luxury tea house, Ladurée is open for business on the Champs-Elysées a year after its flagship store went up in flames. It took a year to restore the café to its original glory after a fire broke out and engulfed the cafe, which has been a landmark since 1997.
A pop-up store was erected alongside the original boutique to serve the throngs of tourists and local Parisian fans alike, as the renovations took place. The renovation of the boutique, meanwhile, was an exercise in patience as everything from the carpets to banquettes, chairs, mirrors and banisters were restored to their original state in painstaking, meticulous detail by the same artists who helped build the first store. The only new addition is an extension of the main boutique at 13 rue Lincoln, which will serve as Bar Ladurée for those who may not have the luxury of time but are still looking for a quick, sweet hit. The world owes Ladurée for the invention of the macaron, which sandwiches a ganache filling between two airy, meringue-like cookies, usually presented in a rainbow of pastel colors and flavors.
Jaquet Droz has unveiled its brand new, Bird Repeater, in homage to its founder Pierre Jaquet-Droz. Developed over two year by in-house craftsmen the brand has said the new timepiece âpushes back the boundaries of haute horlogerieâ.
The dial is incredibly well-detailed: the base dial is mother of pearl, which is hand-engraved and painted. The birds and nest are also hand-engraved and painted.
When the minute repeater is activated, the true beauty of this timepiece is displayed as we see movement in the waterfall as well as a mother bird feeding a chick that hatches from an egg.
The case measures 47 mm in diameter and 18.4 mm in height. Just 16 pieces will be made â 8 in 18-karat gold and while the remaining 8 will be set with diamonds.

Luxury watch brand MB&F has opened its first Beijing boutique in collaboration with retail partners Ray Union and Europe Watch Co. The store is located in the state-of-the-art Park Life Beijing Yintai Centre, in the heart of the cityâs business district. The centre houses various luxury brands, exclusive restaurants and bars as well as a magnificent landscaped roof garden.
The storeâs official opening ceremony is set for early December â and on the same occasion, MB&F will unveil an exclusive, limited-edition Horological Machine created especially for this boutique.
British luxury label Alexander McQueen has added another shop to its growing retail empire. The new McQ flagship store on Londonâs fashionable Dover Street is the second, more affordable, lineâs first dedicated retail space.
The venue, a Georgian townhouse, accommodates the new store concept dreamed up by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen with interior designer David Collins.
âWe wanted to create a story and a home for McQ and the flagship on Dover Street is an extension of this world. It will offer special catwalk pieces alongside ready-to-wear collections in a rich and immersive McQ environment,â Sarah Burton added.
The McQ flagship incorporates slick interactive digital technology such as touchscreen tables that project videos onto wide screens and high-tech mirrors which can cleverly reflect images directly onto Facebook.
The worldâs first Hublot GenĂšve (@Hublot) pop-up store has been unveiled at the main atrium of Paragon Shopping Mall, Singapore.
Collaborating with Asylum's Chris Lee the store features tens of thousands of âblack gemsâ raining down from the immense open loft space of the shopping center spanning two stories.

Luxury French bakery brand LadurĂ©e will be arriving in Hong Kong later this year, with its first Hong Kong outlet to open in Tsim Sha Tsui's, Harbour City. The brandâs logo was posted on the official Harbour City Instagram feed last week with this comment: âLooks whatâs opening at Harbour City soon!â
