copyright law is just such a waste of human labor. imagine how many hours it would take to read 6000 pages of YA romance just to tell someone they don't own the idea of going to high school in alaska. that paralegal could have read 6000 pages of like, environmental protections or employment contracts in that time. we could be putting that effort towards stuff that actually matters. instead we have like, entire areas of law and entire teams of lawyers spending irrecoverable hours of their lives making sure that nobody draws michael mouse in gloves without permission. outdoor clothing brand names itself after a mountain region, gets mad when other artists or brands name themselves after that same mountain region, use mountain themed stuff in their stories or branding. its the energy of 'no IM wearing a blue dress, YOU have to go change' but we put it into the whole law and have spent millions of man-hours pretending its important for keeping people alive in the world.

when i say i hate IP law i don't just mean that its stifling and anti-art and protects bourgeois class interests to pretend that an idea is a limited resource, i also mean its an enormous waste of human time. go legislate labor protections instead. who cares if theres two different princess skeleton books or whatever; holy shit two cakes. why would it be threatening to someone who has an idea for a story that needs telling, if someone else is also passionate about that story. why would the disney corp be threatened by someone hand making a pooh bear toy for themself, when they can still mass produce the official ones in sweatshops and most people will still buy them. its still easier to buy the 'official' one. genuinely who would it hurt to give people more options. you want 'free market competition' so bad, make them actually compete. why are we wasting so many resources and so much time on this shit. why am i supposed to want the highest bidder to control whether i can watch a 50 year old movie. kim theres people that are dying

I have a really hyper specific question, because the other day I was browsing through some sound libraries I have and I stumbled upon one called "Cassette", and some of the sounds are eerily familiar to the sounds you used in ISAT. Is there an actual chance I have the actual library you used?
