They were not warned in advance about this important contest, but they have been preparing for it all their lives.
it’s unfortunate that we look at women who value raising a family over a career as women who are weak
we have all these kids walking around messed up
most of us are messed up from not having adequate parenting
a woman committing to put her family first is deserving of praise
This is your daily reminder that no one is stopping you from putting on a 19th century walking skirt and wading through a small brook

Multiple studies show that when little girls are only given typical boys toys to play with, such as trucks, they will wrap them in blankets and cradle them like a baby. And I just think that we should be encouraging little girls’ natural inclination to be nurturing and loving instead of saying “no honey, you’re going to grow up to do anything a man can!!!” Females can’t do everything that males can. We are not physically capable and no amount of feminism is going to change that. We’re here to do everything that men can’t.
Yes! It’s not that we’re lesser, it’s just that we’re different
We were made to be what men can’t be, and vice versa. There is something so beautiful about being complementary ❤️
With that being said, if a child wants to play with a toy that isnt typical to their gender, you should let them.
^ I agree. It really isn’t as deep as people like to make it out to be; children don’t have as fragile a sense of self as some seem to believe they do.
Working at a daycare, I had an area in my classroom for playing “house” with a kitchen center, baby dolls, doll blankets, etc., and I also had an area for playing with cars and blocks. I never once encouraged the children to play according to gender roles, but do you know what always happened?
The little girls always played with the baby dolls, spending literal hours tucking them in, rocking them, and playing “mommy” while the little boys always spent the same amount of time pushing around the cars and building towers over and over again.
Sometimes the girls would join the boys in playing with the cars, and sometimes the boys would join the girls with their babies or pretend to cook, and they’d often all build towers together…but it would never last more than five minutes at most before they went back to their usual toys, where they would play until it was time for the next activity. I always say that anybody who thinks gender roles aren’t real and natural only needs to spend five minutes in a preschool classroom to see just how mistaken they are.
