I feel like people with binge eating disorder don’t get as acknowledged as they should. So imma take a sec to send a message to anyone struggling w BED specifically ok

So like I’m right there w you friend,

I get u eat and eat bc u have to feel full, sometimes till u can barely breathe and I get that u hate urself so much for it. but u feel like u can’t stop– like u gotta eat and u feel so fucking guilty so u start to hide it n maybe even engage in other self destructive behaviors :(

Change is possible it takes a long time bc food is everywhere so u can’t avoid it but it does get better I’ve learned to portion control n no I am not perfect I generally eat 2 portion sizes (shoot me) but it used to be I ate 6?? So I’m getting there. I’m working on myself n u should also bc ur worth a healthy life n happiness.
