SIGN-UPS FOR THE CURIOSITIES OF THE UNIVERSE ZINE ARE OPEN!
Ever wondered what mysteries might be uncovered in the world of Outer Wilds? If you're interested in investigating, then we suggest you sign up for the Curiosities of the Universe Zine!
Participants will contribute pages to a field guide zine, composed of a bundled collection of notes taken by various explorers. The zine will be made available digitally as well as in a printable format.
The sign-up form will be available from July 17th to August 6th! Please look over the Launch Schedule, Gossan's Handbook, and Lost Traveler's Guide in this Google doc before filling out the form.
Additionally, you will need a Tumblr AND Discord account to fully participate. Please join the Outer Wilds Event Discord Server where youāll have access to the event channels!
We hope you will consider our proposal! After all, there are countless discoveries waiting to be explored.

Closing Notes & Event Museum
Shout out to everyone who participated in the Resonant Echoes Remix this summer! And to everyone else, thanks for tuning in. We hope you had as much fun as we did with this event! The Mod Team loved all the creative ideas you started us off with as well as your super creative takes on each others original works!
We had 27 participants for this event resulting in 54 total works!

The End Into the Beginning
My remix of @aceymcspacey ās The End Of It for @outerwilds-events Resonant Echoes Remix! I struggled with this one but I hope my vision for it is clear :) the original was beautiful and had a very sorrowful feeling that made me think about endings and beginnings and how sometimes it all burns away, and there's nothing to do except help the next story begin.
During our event last summer, we noted that Art Fight (in July) is a significant scheduling conflict for many people.
To avoid that this year, we held our summer event before Art Fight began, but that made the event coincide with a lot of school/work events.
Seeing as weād like to continue to have our summer events be our ābigā collaborative and commitment-heavy eventsā¦

Momentary Eternity

Remix submission for the @outerwilds-events Resonant Echoes Remix, remixing Favorite Moment by @buggbott!
The end of the universe has come, and Solanum is now certain that her journey within it has come to an end. With nothing more to do, she follows a strange signal into the Quantum Moon's polar vortex ... and finds a place ā an experience ā both familiar and entirely new, holding a few more things for her to identify and explain before whatever remains of her consciousness and will can at last be embraced by oblivion.
This fic presents a sort of connecting sequence, in a way, between Solanum as we last see her on the Quantum Moon and Solanum as we see her in the moment the illustration depicts, full of all sorts of mind-reflecting mind-bending terminal quantum weirdness!
To that end, it shares most (if not all) of the thematic elements, existential mysteries, and forms of certainty and uncertainty that we experience in the ending of the game itself (although there is the key difference of Solanum still being a Nomai, and therefore Being A Nomaiā¢ about what she encounters). Do with this info what you will!
