13x14: Good Intentions

This episode had some issues but some good points, too? The best parts were those in the other world with Jack and Mary – this was about the most likable and compelling I have found Mary since her return (even more than how she was with Jack, seeing her bravely protect a kid did more to make her heroic than any amount of hunting). And Alex Calvert continues to strike the perfect balance of sweetly lovable and terrifyingly powerful with Jack.

Overall, though, this episode cemented for me that the show is no longer one I’m particularly interested in watching. I’ll probably stick with it until the end of the season, but I’m not sure I’ll be keeping up with it after that. It’s not that it was that bad – if anything it’s the opposite; it was perfectly fine TV, which made it clearer that it’s simply not a show I’m interested in anymore.
