Hazbin Hotel Season 3 Theories (1) Lilith willingly left hell because she waned independence and is now going to be in the way of Charlie's hotel dream
this is basically a post of me trying to predict on what is going to happen in season 3 of hazin hotel!
i've seen a lot of people speculate on wether or not lilith or a evil villain or a misunderstood hero, i don't think she's either of these things, if anything, she's like camillla, she's her own anti-hero, morally grey and only looks out for herself. charlie said that she thrived in her time as queen and reunited everybody to stand up to hell, vox said this himself two but both have different narratives, charlie's portrayal was heroic and inspiring, vox's portrayal was violent and vengeance, these two people are not retable narrator's as charlie has a bias view of her mother, being her daughter and all and vox is....well vox, he's gonna say whatever he well to get people on his side.
what we know for a fact is this, the same time the exterminations happened, 7 years ago, lilith and alastor both disappeared off from the face of hell with little to explanation, we know rosie is apart of it in some way because she was the reason why alastor left in the first place. it's unknown were alastor was but lilith is in heaven, so far the only people that seem to know that is sera, lute and adam and from what we see she is able to move around, she has her phone and has a whole tea party to herself, we see her choosing to not pick up any calls or text messages from her own family and only choose to after charlie's last voicemail.
it is possible that lilith is a prisoner, at this point pretty much anything is possible, but i personally think. when lilith came with her army of hell to stop adam's angelic army, he realized what danger was ahead of him, lilith and adam were made to be equals to each other, meaning she could take him on and possibly win, adam, realizing this, instead offered a deal, leave behind her army, leave hell and live in heaven again in paradise isolated from everyone and she agreed.
lilith is someone who thrives off independence and being able to make her own choices, she literally refused adam and willingly choose to be with lucifer, she choose to have charlie and seemingly loved being the queen of heaven, but i think this is where things started to fall apart, lucifer HATED being in hell, to him it was punishment, a slap to his face that his own gift to humanity not only backfired horribly but revoked him of everything he had ever known but turned him into this depressed shell. but lilith loved it, to her, this was her choice, hell was her kingdom and she could do whatever she pleased, she thrived while he didn't and i think it heavily affected their marriage to slowly deteriorate, especially since we know that lucifer liked to live as a hermit, being cooped up in his castle inside of his workshop, most if not all of the responsibility fell onto lilith's lap and i don't think she was happy about it, i also think things got even more complicated and strained when charlie was born, because we see lilith taking her away from lucifer whenever they bond or spend time together and he doesn't even try to refute or fight it, charile literally said in their duet song that she never knew her own dad, sure he couldn't been more present why is lilith taking her away from him when they were clearly bonding?!, i think it's because lilith doesn't want lucifer to influence her at all and it's because lucifer has been a let down, he doesn't uphold his duties as king and hides away in his workshop, besides the more control she has over charlie, the more lilith can influence her and so far it's worked, charlie loves and idolize's her mom even when she disappeared, when she's in danger her first reaction is to call her MOM!!, not her dad who is very much in hell and comes whenever she calls!!!, she's a total mama's girl!!
but why would lilith willingly choose to leave behind her family, simple, it's the tie down and responsibilty, i think lilith didn't want to be bothered with it anymore, she was done being tied down and craved for freedom and her own independence, she saw adam's deal as a way out and took it and lived 7 years in paradise and willingly ignored the calls and text's
why is Lilith calling now then? simple, because she knows it's only a matter of time before lute takes things into her own hands and exposes her, so she decided to take control of the situation
lute is a villain and lot's of people were upset that she didn't act more like it in season 2 but it makes sense why she didn't lash out more, 1, she's loyal to heaven and has to abide to the rules, 2, she has no authority to send an army on her own, she has to abide to abel and the higher up's. but she is starting to loose it and will eventually snap and take control into her own hands. lilith knows this two because she tried to order her around when she isn't even allowed to go where lilith is without permission!!, like lute texted, she got lucky but how long until her luck runs out and lute starts to crack, lilith, realizing this, took matters into her own hand and makes the call to charlie,
my theory is that lilith is gonna come back to hell and try to influence charlie into giving up the hotel, not because redemption isn't possible or because heaven wouldn't allow it, but because it's a slight against her, i saw someone else mention this on tiktok and i thought it was genius, they basically said that lilith wouldn't be happy about redemption because the reason she was sent to hell was because she simply said no to adam and for that she was punished, so by redeeming that would mean to her that she was wrong to refuse and not give her free will to adam and i think they were spot on.
for lilith, redeeming would mean having to accept she was wrong and has to atone for her "mistakes", from her perspective it does sound like a slap to the face, i think she would use this argument to make charlie doubt her dreams, doubt the hotel and doubt if sinners do truly have to redeem, this is how she would stop charlie from continuing her hotel and she can go back to heaven and enjoy her paradise again.
do i believe this theory?, honestly i don't even know, hazbin hotel has thrown me in for such a loop that i can't even tell what's going to happen anymore, they did it so perfectly, i can't get enough of this show!!!
but anways, that's just my theory, let me know what you guys think!
