It's been a while since I've joined Tumblr and I just realized I haven't made a proper introduction post, so... here ya go.

I go by Oyasumi, Oya, Hikari... I'll respond to pretty much anything if I know it's directed at me.

I forgot I was playing Project Diva: Future Tone so it was just sitting on Holy Star for over half an hour while I was waiting for the brownies to cook.

I just played Baldur's Gate 3 for a while and it's making me want to put the Detroit: Become Human characters in D&D. I'm exhausted so I only have two ideas:

Hank was a high-ranking member of the royal guard of the city he lived in, but left after his son was killed. He doesn't know if he's out for revenge and looking for his son's killer or just running away, hoping to find somewhere where the pain can't reach him.

Connor is an automaton created to help the guard/local police force with their investigations and helping keep the town safe. At some point, he realizes his creator went missing, along with several other automatons in the city. He left to try to find them, but was damaged and shut off. Hank found Connor and reluctantly powered him back on, where Connor awoke as a warforged. He doesn't remember who he's specifically looking for, but the need to find the others remains.

(I'm writing this on absolutely no sleep.)

Desperately wanting to write a crossover fic between Black Butler and Detroit: Become Human where Sebastian is an investigator android, and there are three ways I could go about this, and I can't decide which one I wanna do:

1.) Vincent was originally assigned to investigate android-related crime with Sebastian as his partner. However, Vincent is killed during one of these investigations, causing Rachel and Angelina to hate androids. They won't let Sebastian anywhere near Ciel, even though one of Vincent's last orders was to keep Ciel safe. Sebastian goes to Rachel's house one night and finds it's on fire. He rushes in to try to save everyone, but only manages to get Ciel out before shutting off due to a system overload. Most of Sebastian's memory is corrupted, so he doesn't remember much about Vincent.

2.) Vincent lost Rachel and Ciel in a car accident and hates androids because of it. Sebastian comes along, Vincent learns to like androids because plot reasons, all that. (This one would be the most similar to the actual game.)

3.) Adult Ciel is assigned to work on the android cases. He lost his parents at a young age and despises androids. Sebastian is assigned to him. If Sebastian is "killed" multiple times (machine ending), it reminds Ciel more and more of how his father died. If Sebastian deviates, the two eventually become good friends, and Ciel starts seeing Sebastian as a brotherly/fatherly figure.

(There's also other things, like if I want this to have characters from the original anime, Book of Circus onwards, or a mix of the two.)

I'm having one of those weeks where I really hurt physically, my brain hates me, and every little task feels like I'm climbing Mt. Everest to complete it.

But at least I have Silent Hill and Resident Evil music, and fanart of Detroit: Become Human and Team Fortress 2.

Writing Detroit: Become Human fanfic has been very fun.

Now if I could stop making Hank sound like Gavin and Gavin sound like Hank, that would be great.

Connor and Amanda's relationship reminds me of the relationship Mafuyu Asahina from Colorful Stage has with her mother and for the life of me I cannot figure out why.

Maybe it's the whole "people around them are deciding their life for them and it isn't until fairly late in their stories that they take control back" thing? (With Connor being specifically designed to hunt deviant androids and Mafuyu taking all of her mother's suggestions as fact, eventually becoming severely depressed/burnt out. Later on: Connor deviates during the good ending, and Mafuyu runs away from home to stay with Kanade.)

At the same time though, I'm not very far into Colorful Stage's story. I know generally what happens thanks to some YouTube videos and playing through a couple of recent events, but... I dunno.

Other times it makes you search "How to stare at the hot dog vender".

Connor, Markus, and Kara are puppets helping Pinocchio with his mission.

Alternatively, Pinocchio is an android who... does... android things, I guess?

(I haven't touched Lies of P in months and I don't remember anything about Pinocchio's main goal other than "kill the puppets that are trying to kill humans".)

I think flinching is such a hit or miss reflex. Like yea a tiny bit of boiling water touched my hand but i dont think reflexivly throwing the water everywhere is a good defensive measure perhaps. might be even worse actually
