guys, as a computer nerd but also a computer science student, I canNOT stress enough how important it is to have stuff stored outside of the internet, especially when govs are shitty and genocides are happening

take that screenshot. fill that external harddrive (if u can afford one). stuff on the internet can get deleted (even if the web archive is still pretty good), or your content gatekeeped by companies. original posters can go and delete stuff.

so if you REALLY want something. screenshot that thing. don't only keep the links. NEVER only keep the links when it's important stuff.

download that music Ur listening on repeat. have that mp3 file somewhere. we're entering a time where ownership of digital content is stripped away from individuals and put in big companies. (and no I'm not talking about the creator ownership of stuff, credit should always go where it's due, I'm talking about your right to view content without having to pay subscriptions (applicable to music mostly for that specific example))
