my favorite part of this is the dichotomy of queerness as understood by certain cultures in the comments at the end; i.e., “it’s all women so it’s definitely pure and not gross and sexual!” right next to “FUCK IM SO GAY FOR THIS”

a very different vibe from my last couple posts, but i'm versatile, the sort of girl you can take to a pumpkin patch and a graveyard.*

this was inspired by late victorian tea gowns and is made entirely from three different cotton fabrics (two quilting cotton prints and a black cotton sateen) with ruffled black lace used as trim.

it has no shaping below the yoke, save for the belt. despite being a "casual" garment by victorian standards it is worn over a corset and petticoat.

*this graveyard is on the grounds of an abandoned church, these were taken on the undeveloped outskirts of it, not actually in it.
